The representative also noted that Mourinho had said he was looking forward to coming back to Thailand as he had enjoyed the club’s last visit two years ago.
The Bangkok game comes six days after Chelsea play Sunderland in the last match of the Premier League season. Chelsea secured the title on Sunday, with three games still to go, by beating Crystal Palace 1-0 at the club’s home ground of Stamford Bridge.
Soccer fans in Thailand are in for an exciting time this summer as Premier League side Liverpool have also confirmed they will be making a return visit. A team comprising most of the Reds star players will play in Bangkok in the first match of the club’s world tour on 14 July.
