The flights will operate once in each direction every Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. Flight times between the two cities are approximately two hours and the carrier is set to utilise its 180-seat Airbus A320s to serve the route.
CEO Ha continued by saying the new route will cater to mushrooming demand for travel between the two locations with the added bonus of low fares. He added that the route would provide convenience for business travellers, tourists and even people visiting relatives.
As a proviso, Mr Ha noted that the route was a logical extension of Jetstar Pacific’s commitment of providing travellers in Southeast Asia with access to seamless through-route options and the lowest possible ticket prices. The airline is currently expanding its network from domestic flights and last year started services from both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Bangkok.
