IMTJ Judges for the Medical Travel Awards 2015 said Malaysia was the optimum choice for Medical Travel Destination. They noted that it garnered top marks for its proven strengths in attracting medical tourists as well as for high percentages of patients who had expressed satisfaction with their treatments.
Malaysia also scored highly with its growing yearly number of medical tourists in addition to related activities that patients could partake in. The Southeast Asian nation also nabbed other prizes in the awards with Kuala Lumpur’s Gleneagles Hospital taking the top spot for Excellence in Customer Service.
Other Malaysian winners included the Beverly Wilshire Medical Centre, for the category of Cosmetic Surgery Clinic of the Year, and the Imperial Dental Specialist Centre for best dental surgery. The Medical Travel Awards 2015 ceremony was staged at London’s Royal Garden Hotel.
