New direct flights to Ho Chi Minh City by Etihad

The national carrier of United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways has offered its first non-stop flights to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam since 1 October this year. The airline was motivated to launch new route by growing interest in Vietnam as a place for business travels and holidays.

The national carrier of United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways has offered its first non-stop flights to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam since 1 October this year.

The airline was motivated to launch new route by growing interest in Vietnam as a place for business travels and holidays. According to Etihad Airways’ Chief Executive Officer, James Hogan “Vietnam is one of the world's fastest growing economies and  Ho Chi Minh City is the main transportation hub in the country".

New Abu Dhabi - Ho Chi Minh City flights will serve about 3,700 passengers per week by an Airbus A330-200 aircraft with 240 seats in Economy and 22 seats in Business Class.

The launching of the new route is just one step in UAE’ politic, it hopes for further cooperation with Vietnam in tourism, infrastructure, construction and energy spheres.
