Business Development Manager (Philippines)

We are working in 70+ countries, and our service has been used by millions of travelers worldwide. We are looking for a Business Development Manager for the Philippines.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or data analysis.
  • Online travel background (GDS, OTA, Meta Searches, bus/ferry companies, TMS etc.).
  • Strategic business-oriented thinking based on data.
  • Our tech stack: Asana, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Analytics, Google Docs. Previous experience would be a plus.
  • Ability to make things happen and proactivity: close the agreements, find growth points, find solutions to increase sales and more.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, and in local dialect such as Binisaya and/or Hiligaynon.
  • Good understanding of competitors and the market of travel, ground transportation in the Philippines would be a plus
  • Ability to travel within the region.
  • Previous remote work and industry related (transportation, OTA) experience would be a plus & Travel experience in the Philippines region would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong and long lasting relationships with all Mindanao operators.
  • Update rates and schedules of PH operators in Mindanao Area.
  • Assist Finance Team on reconciliation of balances/invoices, check on remaining deposits, and assist with sales estimation during peak season.
  • Strategize on how to grow the local market particularly in Mindanao.
  • Work closely with Marketing Team to promote the local market, and promote reseller / affiliate program.
  • Find new local operators in Mindanao Region, find new deals, and try to maximize profit for the company from current operators.
