Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Specialist to take ownership of designated geographic locations or operators, driving revenue growth and cultivating strong supplier relationships. In this role, you will work autonomously to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and strategic objectives, ensuring the commercial success of your assigned area. Your expertise will be pivotal in expanding our market presence and optimizing our business development efforts.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Language Proficiency: Full professional proficiency in English. Additional language skills are a plus.
- Experience: Proven track record in business development or sales roles.
- Problem-solving skills: Proactive and strategic approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel for partner visits or to explore new opportunities as required.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
- Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical abilities with experience using performance monitoring tools.
- Strategic Thinking: Data-driven, strategic business-oriented mindset.
- Proactivity: Demonstrated ability to drive results, close agreements, identify growth opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with competitors, the travel market, and ground transportation in Thailand is advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Identify Growth Opportunities: Discover and capitalize on growth points to increase sales and identify potential opportunities within Thailand's transport sector.
- Client Outreach & Relationship Management: Proactively engage with transport operators and sellers, maintaining and enhancing these key relationships.
- Content Optimization: Collaborate with the 12Go content team to improve content comprehensiveness and boost conversion rates.
- Process Execution: Implement processes and best practices to maximize reconciled revenue and ensure operational excellence.
- Objective Achievement: Independently pursue objectives and key results (OKRs) with minimal supervision.
- Supplier Engagement: Strengthen relationships with suppliers and ensure our offerings are effectively represented on our platforms.
- Commercial Needs Management: Address and manage commercial needs with partners, including Travel Management Systems.
- Efficiency Improvement: Enhance business development efficiency through proactive engagement, strategic questioning, and process improvements.
- Negotiation & Discussion: Lead constructive discussions and negotiations to improve availability, rates, and overall terms.
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze and monitor performance metrics for your area, identifying and reporting issues with a structured approach.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Utilize a cross-functional understanding to address and resolve performance challenges effectively.
