Bus is extremely tight for anyone slightly taller. While the advertised time was 4 hours from Tam Coc to Cat Ba, our trip ended up taking 6 hours.

Full Moon Party bus was fantastic in its communication on pick-up point and time from my homestay. However, it's a basic bus, more suitable for backpackers. There is little legroom for the seats and you are squashed when the person in front reclines their seat. Upon reaching Cat Ba island, a staff from the company boarded the bus and facilitated the drop offs at or close to the hotels where the passengers are staying.

We got picket up at our accommodation and dropped at the next one. Just after booking we got contacted due whatsapp. The Bus was a bit small for European People and some of the Seats were broken.

The bis ride was ok. Not very clear if we had the right bus, but that turned out ok. The bus driver was supposed to drop is off at the hotel, but instead we were dropped of somewhere and we had to walk up the mountain with our bags.

The departure was 20 minutes ahead of schedule but they advice It with enough time. Then we spent 30 minutes waiting to 3 people in the middle of a Road... The arrival in Cat Ba was 30 minutes late. Not bad. The bus was average.
