The bus from Catba to Hanoi was great, but running late. We guess we missed our VIP-bus to Ha Giang Without communication we were put in a taxi across town and put on another slow sleeperbus, without toilet that stopped frequently and was packed with people. We we arrived at a different point in Ha Giang, had to take a taxi to our hotel. No communication in that bus. And afterwards, the company did not reply on our questions.

The bus (normal seated bus) picked us up from our hotel in Cat Ba to the ferry port, where we disembarked for the speed boat before boarding the next bus (sleeper bus). This bus stopped in Hanoi before going onto Ha Giang, no need to change again. The stop locations were good and the staff were friendly and clear with break times etc
