Although we had booked for 11:20, they then messaged me on the day we were meant to go saying that it was fully booked and we could only go at 3:20 so this cost us money for trips we had booked in hoi an with no offer of any compensation.

The driver did not speak any English and therefore needed assistance from another passenger to communicate with other passengers regarding their pickup, which was a little earlier than expected (good for us, so we did not have to wait too long at the train station). Moreover, the trip was quite fast and therefore we arrived earlier than expected. however it was fairly cramped because we had a lot of luggage but manageable for the fairly short ride.
