Die Fahrt war insgesamt in Ordnung, obwohl es heißt, dass man um 10 Uhr ankommt, die Fähre aber erst um 9.30 Uhr abfährt, obwohl wir erst um 10.30 Uhr losgefahren sind und die Fahrt etwa 2 Stunden dauert. War sicher und es war etwas unorganisiertes Chaos, aber wir hatten Schlüsselbänder, was es etwas einfacher machte

The trip was fine altogether although it does state arrival at 10am, however the ferry doesn’t leave until 9.30 on the sign in the shop, however we didn’t leave until gone 10.30am and takes roughly 2 hours. Was safe and it was slightly unorganised chaos but we did have lanyards so that made it slightly easier

Ich war sehr besorgt über die Reise, nachdem ich viele Horrorgeschichten gehört hatte. Es war besser, als ich erwartet hatte. Der Van war alt, es gab keine Klimaanlage und die Fenster ließen sich nicht herunterklappen; zum Glück waren wir nur zu dritt, so dass wir etwas Platz für uns hatten.

Was very anxious about the journey after hearing a lot of horror stories. It was better than I expected. The van was old, there was no ac and the windows wouldn't go down; luckily there was only 3 of us so we had some room to ourselves.

Es war wirklich gut und ich war überrascht, wie reibungslos alles lief! Der Fahrer holte uns um 6.50 Uhr ab und fuhr uns zum Hafen. Wir haben unsere Bordkarten bekommen und sie sagen uns, wann wir abfahren. Es gibt eine Gebühr am Hafen und eine auf der Insel. Das Boot war nicht wirklich schnell, aber es war in Ordnung. Irgendwann habe ich einen Schmetterling gesehen und konnte ihn beobachten! Auf der Website war von 7 bis 10 die Rede, aber wir kamen um 1.30 Uhr auf Gili Air an. Der Rest war wirklich gut!

It was a really good and i was surprised how smooth everything went! The driver picked us up at 6.50am and drove us to the harbour. We got our boarding passes and they tell us when we leave. There is a fee at the harbour and one on the island. The boat wasnt really fast but it was alright. At some point i saw a butterfly and could observe it! On the site they said 7 to 10 but we arrived at 1.30 to Gili Air. The rest was really good!

Haben über eine Stunde auf das Boot gewartet. Als das Boot ankam gab es keine Sitze mehr, musste auf dem Dach des Bootes für 2 Stunden sitzen. Nicht gut, nicht zu empfehlen

Der Transfer zur Anlegestelle war ok, aber keine Gurte. Die Fahrt von der Anlegestelle nach Gili Air war schrecklich. Ich war schon in anderen Schnellbooten, aber dieses war das schlimmste! Es schien, als würde es in 2 Teile zerbrechen, nicht zu empfehlen.
Die Ankunftszeit auf Gili war fast 3 Stunden später.

The transfer to the pier was ok, but no belts. The trip from the pier to gili air was awfull. I have been in other speed boats but this one was the worst! It seemed like it was going to split in 2. Do not recommend.

Wir sind dort angekommen, wo wir hinwollten, also ist das in Ordnung.
Achten Sie nur darauf, dass der Taxitransfer inbegriffen ist. Auf dem pdf-Ticket stand zwar "transfer included", aber man wollte uns trotzdem 500.000 für eine Abholung zahlen lassen (???!). Unser Bustaxi war ansonsten sehr nett.
Dann muss man am Hafen noch 10.000 für eine kreative "Hafengebühr" + 10.000/pax für eine weitere kreative "Insel-Eintrittsgebühr" hinzurechnen.

Just pay attention that your taxi transfer is included. On the pdf ticket it was written "transfer included" but, they still wanted to make us pay 500.000 for a pickup (???!). Our bus-taxu otherwise was really nice.
Then, be ready also to add 10.000 at the harbour for an creative "harbour fee" + 10.000/pax for another creative "island entrance fee".

Aufgrund des schlechten Wetters wurden viele Boote gestrichen und wir hatten ein wenig Angst. Also buchten wir unser Boot mit Fahrer über 12go asia und der Service war großartig � wir erhielten eine E-Mail im Voraus, dass sie uns zu einem anderen Hafen bringen werden. Der Fahrer war sehr freundlich und pünktlich. Am Hafen hat er uns gezeigt, wo wir die Tickets bekommen. Das Boot war in Ordnung. Es ist eine lange Fahrt und das Beste, was man tun kann, ist zu schlafen. Glaubt mir. Es gibt nicht viel Platz für die Beine und zwei Tage später habe ich leider immer noch ein taubes Gefühl in meinem Knie...

Due to bad weather a lot of boats were canceled and we were kind of afraid. So we booked our boat with driver via 12go asia and the Service was great we got an e-mail in advance that they will bring us to a different port. The driver was very friendly and on time. At the port he showed us where we get the Tickets. The Boat was ok. It‘s a long ride and the best thing to do is to sleep. Believe me. There is not much space for your legs and two days later i sadly have still a numb feeling on my knee…

Der Transfer war gut! Boot war spät zu verlassen und dauerte viel länger als in Rechnung gestellt, aber das war ok, da wir nicht in Eile waren. Padangbai Hafen ist ein bisschen verrückt, nicht viel dort und es ist ziemlich unorganisiert

Transfer was good! Boat was late to depart and took much longer than billed but that was ok as we weren’t in a rush. Padangbai port is a bit crazy, not much there and it’s quite unorganised

Vielleicht hatte ich extremes Glück, vielleicht ändern sie sich zum Besseren, aber meine Erfahrung war gut.
Sie holten mich pünktlich vom Hotel ab, der Van war bequem, der Fahrer nett.
Dann kamen wir zum Hafen und jeder bekam ein nummeriertes Schlüsselband.
Wir fuhren 45 Minuten zu spät ab, aber das Boot war bequem. Ich saß vorne und konnte die Klimaanlage spüren (es war laut, da helfen Kopfhörer mit Geräuschunterdrückung).
Wir brauchten 1:54 Minuten von Bali nach Gili T.
Man hat uns sogar über einen Betrug aufgeklärt, bei dem versucht wird, uns den kostenlosen Transfer auszureden, und uns gesagt, dass wir direkt zu ihrem Büro gehen sollen, um den Shuttle zu organisieren.
Einige Dinge zu beachten:
Ich habe viele Leute gesehen, die in der Schlange gefrühstückt haben und sich dann übergeben mussten. Es ist ein Schnellboot. Selbst an einem sonnigen Tag wird die Fahrt sehr anstrengend sein. Bringen Sie Ihre eigene Plastiktüte mit, wenn Sie zur Seekrankheit neigen.
Das Warten auf das Gepäck war der chaotischste Teil. Außerdem musste man zwei Gebühren bezahlen (eine beim Verlassen von Bali und eine bei der Ankunft auf Gili).
Auf einem Transparent wird erklärt, dass Leute, die den Shuttle nach Sanur, Kuta und Seminyak nehmen, an ihren Hotels abgesetzt werden können. Für alle anderen Ziele wird man im Stadtzentrum abgesetzt.

Maybe I was extremely lucky, maybe they're changing for the better but my experience was good.
They picked me up at the hotel on time, the van was comfortable, the driver was nice.
Then we got to the harbor and everyone got numbered lanyards.
We did leave 45 minutes late but the boat was comfortable. I sat in front and could feel the ac (it was loud. Noise-canceling headphones help).
It took us 1:54 minutes from Bali to Gili T.
They even explained about a scam where people try to talk you out of the free transfer and told us to go straight to their offices to arrange the shuttle.
Some things to note:
I saw many people having entire breakfasts in line and then throwing up. It's a speed boat. It will be a rough ride even on a sunny day. Bring your own plastic bag if you're prone to being seasick.
Waiting for the luggage was the most chaotic part. Oh and also having to pay two fees (one leaving Bali and another arriving in Gili).
There's a banner explaining that people who take the shuttle to Sanur, Kuta, and Seminyak can be dropped at their hotels. For every other destination, they'll leave you at the city center.
