Giới thiệu Seatran Discovery
Trong khi có thể đến được một số đảo bằng máy bay hoặc được kết nối với đất liền bằng một cây cầu, phà vẫn là cách duy nhất để đến một số hòn đảo đẹp và tuyệt vời nhất, những bãi biển riêng tư hoặc các điểm đến bên bờ biển khác. Phà ô tô lớn hơn và chậm hơn, chở phương tiện và hành khách đi khắp thế giới, nhưng trong một số trường hợp nhất định, bạn sẽ cần chọn tàu cao tốc hoặc catamaran nhỏ hơn nhưng nhanh hơn để đến điểm đến của mình. Mặc dù cách thứ hai giúp bạn tiết kiệm thời gian, nhưng nên thận trọng nếu bạn dễ bị say sóng. Những chuyến phà nhanh cao tốc luôn tiêu tốn túi tiền của bạn nhất. Nếu bạn cần tiết kiệm tiền, hãy kiểm tra các lựa chọn chậm hơn trên tuyến đường – thường thì giá cả phải chăng hơn nhiều. Lưu ý rằng không phải tất cả giá vé hoặc hạng vé luôn có sẵn trên mọi tuyến đường. Trong mùa cao điểm, bạn nên đặt chỗ trước vì các cabin riêng đắt tiền hơn thường có hạn. Việc chọn mua vé walk-in tại quầy trên các tuyến đường phổ biến nhất trong những khoảng thời gian này có thể khiến bạn phải xếp hàng dài chờ đợi. Một số điểm đến có nhiều hơn một bến tàu hoặc các bến tàu khác nhau cho các công ty phà khác nhau, do đó, bạn nên kiểm tra bến tàu mà bạn rời/cập bến trước chuyến đi. Ưu điểm của du lịch phà
- Đi tàu thuyền cho phép bạn đến một số hòn đảo, bãi biển hoặc điểm đến bên bờ biển vốn không thể đến được bằng phương tiện khác. Mặc dù việc di chuyển bằng phà có thể tốn thời gian và đôi khi khiến bạn bị say sóng, nhưng khả năng đến thăm những điểm đến thiên đường, bí mật, hoang dã nhất mà chúng mang lại cho bạn thường sẽ đủ để bù đắp.
- Vé phà có thể được đặt trực tuyến. Nó giúp bạn tiết kiệm thời gian và đảm bảo hành trình du lịch diễn ra theo đúng kế hoạch. Tùy chọn đặt trước đặc biệt thuận tiện khi đi du lịch trong mùa cao điểm, ngày lễ quốc gia hoặc cuối tuần khi nhu cầu mua vé cao và số lượng tàu hạn chế trên các tuyến đường.

Nhược điểm của du lịch phà
- Mối quan tâm chính khi đi du lịch bằng đường thủy là say sóng, đây là một điều rất phiền phức và khó chịu. Ngay cả khi bạn chưa bao giờ trải nghiệm nó trước đây, không có gì đảm bảo rằng chuyến phà tiếp theo sẽ diễn ra suôn sẻ. Biển động và những chuyến đi bằng tàu cao tốc có thể khiến cả những người có dạ dày khỏe nhất cũng phải xây xẩm. Good overall. First bus was very comfortable, they gave you a bottle of water, some biscuits and a blanket. It stopped once at a big venue that had different food stalls and bathroom (and if you had your ticket you could get a discount on food). Bus arrived early in the morning around 5 to a place that didn’t look much like a bus station, we were told the next bus wouldn’t come for another hour but we left within 30 minutes - you can also buy a shuttle service to your hostel/hotel on Koh Samui here but it is a bit pricier then when you arrive. As we arrived at the pier we just followed the crowd guessing that was the right way to go. The ferry took a while and we arrived later than planned but there was practically no one on it so you could lay down on the seats and such.

Vietjet Air refused to allow correction of passenger name (from the usual abbreviated version of my first name 'Ben' to the full name as in passport 'Benedict'), even 3 days in advance of the return leg of the flight, though I had admitted the error and provided ample proof of identity, and contacted the airline customer support by phone and email to arrange correction. I was forced to pay for an extra ticket at the airport for both legs. This was unnecessary, not required by Thai authorities, and humiliating for me.

Die Anholung vom Airport zum Pier klappte hervorragend, die Überfahrt mit der Färhe nach Koh Tao ebenfalls Das einzuge Manko sind die Toiletten an Bord, da muß etwas passieren, aber hier sind die anderen Fähunternehmen auch nicht besser. ansonsten hat alles wunderbar geklappt und aehr pünktlich! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Abholung am Airport, Transfer zum Pier hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Nur der Fahrer des Busses war etwas mürrisch. Fähre in Ordnung und sogar die Toiletten waren sauber und funktionierten einwandfrei.

Flight was bumpy, and seats very narrow, flight was really packed @air asia . Otherwise really smooth experince with 12 go asia, everything is always on the dot on time, very helpful and friendly. Seatran was great with cozy bus and high speed ferry, ferry was a little over packed from ko samui to ko Taathoa not everybody had seats,

That was way smoother and cozier than expected. The start was a bit confusing but it was eventually sorted out by waiting at Ko Lanta Saladan Pier when somebody came to pick us up (at 8:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM as written on a ticket). The travel was made in four stages:
1. Van - Pickup at Ko Lanta Saladan Pier at 8AM (instead of 7AM), a guy came to collect us - 1h ride
2. Bus - From Krabi to pier on north (we got tickets to ferry and taxi here) - aprox. 1h wait and chill here + 3h ride
3. High-speed ferry - From the pier to Koh Samui and then Koh Phangan - 2h ride
4. Private van taxi to any hotel at Koh Phangan (just tell them where you're going and write it down on your ticket before) - for us 20 min drive
Recommended for travelers from Southern islands to Northern islands :)

The journey was absolutely fine. We caught the ferry and were escorted to a bus which went straight to Krabi via a service station for a toilet and food stop off. Compared to the Lomphraya catamaran which we caught on the way out to Koh Tao, far less people were seasick but the Seatran ferry and bus were far more tired and dirty than their Lomphraya equivalent. The bus in particular was filthy with blackened air con vents and ancient seats. So from our experience, Lomphraya seemed like the slicker outfit but using Seatran for this journey was fine - it got us from A to B - but not amazing.

Au départ le bateau c'est arrêté 20min bien après le port de Samui. Le bateau est resté 1h00 en pleine mer à plus 1 km de la côte. Le bateau était très vieux, et tout rouillé. Les passagers mettaient les gilets de sauvetage. Personne ne nous a informé de la situation. Les marins réparaient le moteur à coup de marteau qui raisonnaient, un employé du bateau fumait au dessus de la trappe de la cale du bateau, personne de l'équipage n'a empêché les touristes de fumer autour de lui. Le bateau tanguait énormément, ce n'était pas un moment agréable.

Everything was fast. On the ferry departure at Ron Sai Pier Koh Phi Phi immediately my ticket was identified as having a transfer from Krabi Pier to the Airport. On the ferry arrival at Krabi, there was a gentleman that identified my stick as having a transfer to the airport. He was very gentle, worried about my flight time and the van was confortable.

Toilet at the first pit stop was gross.. and again on the ferry. Make sure you bring your own tissues!!

Hat alles geklappt, leider mit erheblicher Verspätung, mehr als 1 Std., auf Phi Phi angekommen. Ansonsten waren es reibungslose Übergänge, von Fähre zum Bus und vom Bus zur Fähre.

We (tourists) were treated like stock, Thai staff arrogant, highly unfriendly, not helpful to à single mom of 2. Didn’t want to accept the ticket bought through 12go, telling me I needed a paper ticket... unables to use the flashcode on my phone.
The ferry dirty, security standards doubtful, lifejackets in Bad shape, no escape way other than a single, very small staircase for both levels.

The ship was very noisy and hot during the whole trip and I felt the cabin lacked proper escape routes in case an accident happened. Aside from that the trip was good.

The trip from Tonsai Pier to Krabi Klong Jilad was good, nothing to complain. There was friendly staff that I would like to thank, "ship boys" gave me snack and a place to sit, very nice.

All employees were polite and helpful. Check-in process was slow -no fault of employee but possibly due to a snag in the passenger’s reservation. That one passenger took 18 minutes! Rough ride due to weather, otherwise it was great. Would do it again.

Comfortable journey and highly organised. Each time we got off a boat / bus we were immediately directed as to where to go next. Really well organised.
Last boat was a bit old so it wasn’t the nicest, rest of the transportation was modern.
