Плюсы путешествия на автобусе
- Автобус – лучший вариант, чтобы добраться до локаций, которые не связаны жд веткой или авиасообщением. Автобусная сеть часто охватывает всю страну, а маршруты давно сформированы и обкатаны.
- В отличие от авиаперелетов и иногда – жд поездок приезжать на автостанцию сильно заранее необходимости нет. Регистрация, даже на международных автобусных рейсах, как правило, не занимает много времени. Допуски по багажу тоже весьма и весьма приятные, а если лимиты на вес багажа все-таки установлены, то доплата за перевес почти всегда совсем невысокая.
- Билеты на автобус обычно более доступны, чем билеты на самолет или скорый поезд. Разнообразие классов и тарифов ориентировано на любой кошелек. Самые дешевые варианты, возможно, не самый быстрый способ прибыть в пункт назначения, но свою работу автобусы в любом случае делают. На более длинных маршрутах есть либо туалеты в салоне, либо остановки, билет включает снеки, воду, иногда туалетные принадлежности, одеяла и прочие полезные и приятные вещи.
- Если вы готовы потратить чуть больше, то некоторые ВИПы по комфорту и обслуживанию могут вполне соперничать с бизнес-классом на самолетах: широкие мягкие раскладывающиеся кресла, одеяла, меньшее, по сравнению с обычными автобусами, число пассажиров и прочие бонусы очень скрашивают впечатления от поездки.
Минусы путешествия на автобусе
- Новые междугородние автобусные терминалы нередко расположены на окраине города у оживленных шоссе, чтобы автобусы не вставали в городские пробки. Для путешественника в этом не только плюс, но и минус. Добираться до таких терминалов бывает непросто или долго, плюс в некоторых локациях обслуживать терминалы разрешается не любому транспорту – т.е. даже некоторые службы такси туда не допускают. Как результат – спекулятивные цены на перевозку. Если нужно выезжать в часы-пик, не забывайте заложить дополнительное время на поездку.
- Автобус, наверное, вид транспорта, который наиболее подвержен задержкам и нарушению расписания – если сравнивать с самолетами или поездами. Причин может быть великое множество – от ДТП до ремонта дороги, объезда и т.д. Ситуация ухудшается в дни государственных праздников, длинные выходные, высокий сезон. Учитывайте этот момент и не планируйте коротких стыковок.
- Если вы планируете поездку по одному из наиболее востребованных маршрутов и/или в высокий сезон, стоит озаботиться заблаговременным бронированием билетов. Учитывайте, что просто прийти на автовокзал и уехать ближайшим рейсом возможно далеко не всегда: билеты вполне могут быть распроданы, так что планируйте заранее.

On aurait pu être à l'heure si le chauffeur n'avait pas embarqué une personne au dernier moment en se faisant payer direct puis en le déposant avant KL et aussi si on avait pas fait un arrêt imprévu devant une station service pour faire du commerce de pneus de voiture 😂

Really enjoyed the journey, sears were very comfortable and plenty of room. Bus departed on time from a chaos bus station.
I would suggest your phone is fully charged as there were no phone charging facilities on the bus, overall an enjoyable journey

This was an overnight bus, but that didn’t stop the driver talking to his mates most of the way. That was a little annoying and kept us awake, but what was most grotesque was the one who had this awful cough, and where he‘d hack up and then spit every 10 mins or so. It was truly disgusting and a sound that will probably haunt me forever. The coach was fine enough. But I felt far from rested on arrival.

Bus was lovely, spacious, very good AC. Trip took an extra hour due to traffic by the boarder but otherwise was good! Make sure to exchange the 12go voucher for the actual ticket. We arrived in plenty of time and someone showed us where to go.

fir to your budget but it could be better with on time schedule, we are almost lose our connecting bus due to the bus was late almost 3 hours.

It was ok. Took longer than 5 hours tho. Old and dirty bus, but for the price I let that slide. Overall okay, not too bad. Great alternative if you’re on a budget! ONE THING THO, be aware that there will be stops at the border, which takes some time (passport etc), and there is gonna be a long «food/toilet» break at a food hall. This requires cash, every stand and food place in there only accepts cash. THERE IS NO ATM THERE. We were not aware before travelling, so make sure you have some Malaysian Myr, if not you will end up starving and bring thirsty like me and my friend. Bus drivers did also either speak and understood english, some words but…

The bus was comfortable and clean enough, not brand new though. It was more or less on time. A driver was nice as a lady at a counter in Sungai Nibong terminal.
Booking via 12Go Asia worked well again.

We had to exchange the bus voucher for the ticket, and we had to pay extra! We had the voucher on paper, as recommended, but it didn't help! The bus was very old, the seats were broken and very dirty. Bus was about an hour late. The only good thing is the low ticket price.

The ride was comfortable, we're not late, ticket is very easy to claim specially if you choose TBS for it's a very efficient bus station. The seats got massive leg room, but it needs a little vaccuming, the grooming of the bus captain and assistant could be improved. Overall, this is a very good deal to travel from KL to SG.

Der Tausch meines Online-Tickets in eine Papier-Ticket war problemlos aber notwendig. Der Bus war ok. Wir kamen halbwegs pünktlich los (10 min später), aber die Reisedauser war fast eine Stunde länger, weil die Verkehrsdichte sehr hoch war. Ich kann es trotzdem empfehlen.

The trip starten out great! The TBS central was similar to an airport, and everything went smooth there.
Our buss Journey was initially ok. Spaceous seats and not much to complain about. Around halfway through the trip the bus stoped at a station and, without explanation (our driver did not understand any english), we had to change bus. This bus had a lower standard. Filthy and without seatbelts.

We arrived to our destination 2hrs late due to heavy traffic through the border of JB and Singapore. The instructions of where to wait for the bus when we walked through the border was unclear - we were all frantically searching for other passengers on our bus to make sure we went to the correct place. We also weren't provided with any water for the duration of the trip, and we had our break stop 3.5 hours after we stayed the journey, which was a long time to wait in our opinion.

Bus left on time. Made the scheduled rest stop and arrived without incident. The seats are wide and comfy, plenty of leg room. The bus arrives in Butterworth at the same location as the ferry. You just go one floor up the escalator to connect to the ferry to Penang island. Easy as pie. The instructions for the ticket are simple and you just go to a ticket counter at the station to get them printed.

Driver doesn't tell you where you need to be when you go through customs so all a bit hit and miss.
Also be aware, immigration into Singapore took 2 hours. Sooo boring. Got to the front of a line and there was a problem with the kid they were seeing so they shut the line and sent us elsewhere ????
Be prepared for the wait.

Booked online to go Sg Nibong terminal direct but the coach detour to drop off passengers at Penang Sentral resulting in 1 hr delay. Bus is dirty and poor customer service!

Easy to book online. Went to bus station to get tickets printed. Walking distance from old town. Came back in morning to catch bus. Waited in air con room until boarding. All very easy.
Bus journey was smooth. Good driver. Highly recommend this booking company and bus company.

Bus was comfy, however leaving from a bus station we expected to be dropped off at a bus station instead we were dropped out off by the side of a road with no help at all and no taxis near by. We ended up going into a shop and asking if they minded calling us a taxi as we had no idea where we were.

The bus driver did a good job. He drove safe and the bus was comfortable. But it took 7 hours to get from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur. We left at 9:00 am and arrived at 4:00 pm!!

Very interesting trip. The bus was very clean and the driver very competent.
My only request is please clean the windows of marks left by previous notices - being a tourist I like to take photos of the fabulous scenery not take photos of dirty blobs on the window.

Comfortable and clean bus. Sadly, the driver was often on his phone and was vaping while driving. We passengers could smell it. Also, we stopped on the side of the highway (still in KL) for a long time with no explanation from the driver.
