Opinie o kierunku z Hanoi do Hué

DM
We booked our bus trip in VIP Sleeper 34 class from Hanoi to Hue via Luxury Van Limousine on the 12go Asia. We got to the meeting point (outside an agency I think) in Hanoi at 16.45 (30 mins before departure as per the instructions on the PDF doc) before the stated departure of 17.15, however we had to wait outside in the rain (luckily under a small shelter) for almost 50 mins until we got picked up by a minibus which then took us outside a big bank where a Queen Cafe Open Bus was waiting. A guy (not sure who he was but he could have worked for the Luxury Van Limousine) told us to go, hide and wait under the covered area of a bank as it was raining heavily. There were lots of tourists all waiting for their buses but no-one knew which one to get on as there was absolutely no communication from the bus company so we were all just waiting there until someone who looked lik e a bus rep or something came along with a sheet of paper. We went to ask him and we found our names on the sheet and were told to board the Queen Cafe Open Bus bus that has been there for like 30 mins already. Upon entering the bus we were asked to take our shoes off and went to find our spot. We could picked them ourselves as our ticket didn't say any seat number. We waited on the bus for some time and at 18.38 finally left for Hue. The journey was mostly okay but man was the driver driving so fast even in the rain that it was scary at times. After a while I noticed there was water leaking through the roof onto the seat so I went to tell the guy who was seated to the right from the driver (I reckon a 2nd driver/helper) but he was so rude and he wouldn't even get up to see what I was trying to tell him and was shooing me away with his hand. We put a blanket on the floor and closed the curtains to stop the water coming out and make the floor slippery but every time the 'helper' came to count people on the bus he would open the curtains and put the blanket away and again ignoring us showing him where the water was coming from. There were stops for toilet breaks and it was quiet on the bus. The WiFi on the bus didn't work and the light bulbs were missing. No water was provided (despite seeing a big pack of about 20 small waters near us) so bring your own water and food for the journey or you can buy it at the stations when stopping for toilet breaks. We got to Hue at 7.30am the following morning in one piece and somehow rested. We paid about £18 for this bus journey per person. Overall the journey was okay but a note to the bus agency - it would be helpful if you had staff at the boarding point communicating with clients better and if your driver/helper spoke basic English.

The seat was very short, I didn’t have the USB charge and my AC was broken. Furthermore, the driver smoked during the trip so the bus smell of smoke.

The service was very reliable. Easy to find, book in and escorted to your cabin. The cabin was clean and laid out with a personalised welcome note, numerous snacks, drinks and a breakfast box. Downside is the beds are not comfy, the train is so noisy, sleeping is not high on the agenda. Altogether an OK way to reach alternative destinations but you will not be refreshed.

The service provided by the organizer was good. However, the bus was late (45 minutes). The seats were cleaned. The display did not work, the air conditioning was very weak. We sat at the very back by the toilet. It smelled of toilet and it was very warm. Shoes are not allowed on the bus. That was great. You couldn't close the curtains completely at the window. There were freshly laundered blankets. These smelled good. The journey was uncomplicated, quick and absolutely good value. Price and performance were right. A little tip: don't sit in the back because of the toilet and the heat.

Transfer driver and staff who told us which bus to board were extremely rude. None spoke English, which was ok as we didnt speak Vietnamese either. BUT we knew when they swore at us in our face as they were frustrated that we didn't understand what they said When boarding the bus, the driver and controller asked for our seat number. We were not told the seat number so we didn't have it but the driver insisted that we sat at the assigned seat that we didn't know. A Norwegian women said her number was 36 but that number didn't exist in the bus. Some passengers asked to change their seats, but it wasn't allowed, although nobody sat there. After all, we paid for the service and it was horrible. You should train your staff. Everyone should have empathy and recognize we have a language barrier. The attitude was bad, there was no need to be rude just because we didn't understand one another. Toilet at the food stop was incredibly poor.

All fine - and outstanding help from the woman in charge at Hotel Mango in Hanoi, who went out of her way to help me recover a phone I’d lost on the way. (Thank you so much again for this help.) Having such an excellent speaker of English and communicator in general is hugely helpful.

It was nothing special, quite cramped and the rooms were fairly hot. Only snacks provided, personally I would go by bus or air instead.

The bus was over an hour late on departure and the drop off was on the outskirts of Hue and not in the city where we would have a few steps to accommodation. If we wouldn't recieve the email with the licence plate number we would have missed the bus. And also the staff was ignoring us for the first part, even when we showed the voucher. We also had to show the email with the licence plate. They even tried to make us only take 2 beds. As we are a family of 3, but we booked and payed for 3 pax so they couldn't do nothing regarding that. And at the next stop they tried it with another group of 3 pax... The driver that drove the first part, was driving too agressive and they smoked, so the smoke was all over the bus. The comfort was ok, but with the agressive driving it all got lost as I was all over my space.

Generally pleasant. Though arrived 20 minutes late due to holiday traffic and the pick up location was quite dirty. Only 1 out if the 3 usb charging ports were working
