Yasmine I’m a 24 year old female traveller from Canada and took the Mondulkiri express from Phnom Penh to Mondulkiri in order to experience elephants at the elephant project. The location was easy to find for pick up, however the van was full and made a ton of stops for locals to get off that didn’t seem to be official stops but more like stops at their homes or businesses. The van was not only filled with peoples belonging but also goods for businesses like cabbage and other foods that were fresh and had no smell. Overall the van was a good experience but for more comfort I recommend taking a coach bus or sleeper/hotel bus.
