Took about 4 hrs on total, quite a few scheduled and unscheduled stops, driver very safe and kindly dropped us to the railway station, some 14km outside Surat Thani. Would recommend, comfortable, good value and a pleasant experience.

Driver did not stop at the railway station - which the service did the last time I used the
same service; which on that occasion would have screwed 5 stars - by the time I realised what was going on and spoke to the driver, it left myself and a Thai lady with a 15km taxi ride to get back to the station.

The van left 1.5h late due to too few people booked (but that was a lie as it pulled into the terminal full of people just before we got it) it was obsiously just late from the previous trip.
Driver drove like he stole the van. Literally no one overtook us on they way, we were faster than everyone on the road.
Seat belts in the van are not 3point and will most likely kill you in a crash.

Good bus, everything was clear, driver was in time. But they take us fees for extra luggage while the bus was empty only 8 people in a 30 bus seats… bit annoying because plenty of space.
