The overall journeys went ok, but there were too many people and not enough staff at the "check-in" point (not the staff fault) in Koh Samui and once we arrived at the Port of Surat Thani, it was very chaotic and disorganised to understand which bus was going where having to ask multiple times and individuals but we made it.
I would recommend to Phantip to not require passengers to have to check-in at the office when all tickets have been bought online already and advise passengers how to proceed right away to the ferries or buses to save time and hassle.

We were a bit before one hour and got on an early ferry but bus was not early so needed to wait quite long. The bus was so loud and the driver was singing the whole way. Was dropped off by the road not all the way to the hotel, was not too far to walk.
