鉄道や大型バスと違って、バンではチケットのクラスが選べることはほとんどありません。座席はすべて同じで、スタンダード、VIPなど、呼び方は様々です。異なるのはバンの車体タイプです。9～10人乗りのバンもあります。これはより広いシート、より広いスペース、より快適な旅を意味します。15人乗りのバンもありますが、足や肘、荷物のスペースが犠牲になることが多く、窮屈に感じるでしょう。快適な乗り心地を確保するために、1席ではなく2席を購入するのは良いアイデアです。バンのチケットを予約する前に、JKP Transportのバンサービスに関するレビューを読んで、あなたが何を重視するかを確認しましょう。.
バンで旅するメリットとデメリット
メリット
- 大型バスも電車も通っていない辺鄙な場所や小さな町や村に行くには、バンが唯一の手段のケースがあります。
- 大型バスは乗船不可でも、バンなら乗船可能な大型カーフェリーがあります。これらのフェリーを利用すれば、島々へも、バンで行けます。
- 大型バスに比べると車体が小さいため、道中での取り回しが良いです。特に目的地が遠くない場合は、移動時間が短くなることもあります。
- バンには停留所がありますが、停留所ではない場所で降りることも可能です。100%可能とは限りませんが、多くのドライバーは協力してくれるはずです。そうすれば、ターミナルから徒歩やタクシーで降りなければならなかった時間と費用の両方を節約できます。
デメリット
- 多人数乗車の場合、かなり窮屈に感じるかもしれません。足や肘を使うスペースは限られています。一部のバンでは、1枚のチケットで預けられる荷物は1個に制限されています。スーツケースやバックパックなど、荷物が多い場合は、荷物用のチケットを別途購入する必要があり、料金が2倍になります。
- すべてのバンがスケジュール通りに運行されているわけではありません。路線によっては、満席にならないと出発しない場合もあります。チケットを買う前にオペレーターに確認してください。バンが満員になるまで予想以上に長く待つことになるかもしれません。
- 他の交通手段でバンほど無謀なドライバーはいないでしょう。車両に速度制御ユニットを取り付けている会社もありますが、ドライバーが警告を無視し続け、走行中ずっとビープ音を鳴らしているケースは珍しくありません。バンで移動するときは、必ずシートベルトを着用しましょう。時にはシートベルトがどこにあるか、調べる必要があるかもしれません。
- 乗り物酔いしやすい人は、バン旅行の30分前に薬を飲んでおくとよいでしょう（特に、曲がりくねった道を通る場合）。バスよりもバンの方が乗り物酔いしやすいのです。

Busje betrof een minivan zoals aangegeven. Ondanks dat de bus vol zat werd er netjes rekening gehouden met mijn extra geboekte stoel voor de backpack. Busje stopte niet bij de clocktower maar random ergens in Hua hin, bestuurder probeerde rekening te houden met de locatie van het hotel maar was verkeerd doorgegeven door een mede passagier.

Arrived on time, lady at the counter was helpful and kind.
We stopped once for a bathroom break.
We arrived 1 hour later then scheduled but the ride was great.

The driver put us 20 min before departure in the van and disappeared without explanation. He did depart on time.
At the booking we were advised to book an extra seat because we were travelling with big backpacks, so we did. (1 extra seat, 2 backpacks) However, during the trip multiple people also stepped in sp that every seating place was occupied, including the one we bought extra.
On one of the stops for letting people enter the car, the driver took a pause to smoke a cigarette.
The driver answered many phonecalls during driving (by hand) and was several times looking on a piece of papers with numbers (money he would earn??), and adding them up by phone calculator.
We did arrive on time.

The minibus ran ahead of schedule and wasn't too overcrowded, which was great, but the seatbelts weren't working and the air conditioning wasn't particularly good.

The driver stop like 15times. One person had to stand up on the trip, they put in packages in the car and delivered?
The van was on time but all the stops was awful, so many people jump on/off.

Easy to find the kiosk paid for an extra seat for luggage mini bus a bit cramped if you are over 6ft. Disappointed have to pay fee to pay by visa / Mastercard and can't pay in local currency ?? Charged in euros whwn bought in thailand ??Overall mini bus fine did one comfort stop bit late arriving but traffic was bad driver was great dropped us at a stop en route as closer to our hotel

Die Buchung funktionierte ausgezeichnet, wir hatten für unser Gepäck 2 extra Plätze reserviert.Der Fahrer war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns sicher zu unserem Ziel gebracht.Der Fahrer ist vorschriftsmäßig und ohne jegliche Risiken gefahren.Eine sehr gute Erfahrung.Immer wieder und sehr empfehlenswert.

I think the booking process of these mini bus trips has to improve as there is no mention of having to book an extra seat for your luggage until you have purchased your tickets.
Also the van was awful, the seat I had paid for was so ripped on both seams it meant I had less than a full seat to sit on for a 4 hour bus journey.
Less than impressed to say the least.

Wij hadden voor 2 personen 4 zitplaatsen en dan is het prima te doen.. Het was een oud busje die onderweg pech kreeg met de airco maar werd onderweg gemaakt.. Dit duurde een halfuurtje.. Wij vonden dit niet erg maar waren wel blij met de extra stoel, ook ivm de backpacken..

Thank you to the driver for stopping 1 hour into the trip - I have type 2 diabetes and unfortunately needed a P a lot sooner than expected. Driver also made a petrol / toilet break about one hour from destination but still arrived in under the quoted 4 hours! Cheer

En avance à la station de bus, nous avons pu prendre un bus plus tôt grâce au personnel sur place, donc point positif. Mais le chauffeur roule très vite, tout en ayant des écouteurs dans une oreille et en regardant un film sur son téléphone pendant qu'il conduit ! Donc peu rassurant. Une alarme (pour dépassement de vitesse ?) sonne très régulièrement dans le van et c'est tres dérangeant.Toutefois , à l'arrivée à Hua Hin, le chauffeur a pris la peine de nous demander où nous allions et de demander à une autre personne. Donc pour cela, merci.

Vom Anfang bis zum Ende - perfekt. Völlig reibungslose Buchung, sofortige Bestätigung derselben, pünktliche Abfahrt in einem sauberen, gepflegten Minibus. Zurückhaltender Fahrstil und pünktliche Ankunft, bei einem kurzen Stop unterwegs.

Trip was OK, however, a number of people had to be dropped off and picked up on the way. We arrived in Hua Hin on the scheduled time, that was really good.
A visit to a toilet somewhere half way the trip would have been nice ;-)

It was okay. If you are staying near the bus stations it works out well but if you still need to get a taxi to/from places, pay the extra and go private. You end up paying the same and get there quicker.

We had the 11.15 bus from Kanchanaburi, which left exactly on time. We booked one extra luggage seat for two big suitcases, which was exactly enough. The bus was rather old but clean, with good temperature. First stop (incl. toilet break, squat toilets only) is after 2 hours. Then one stop for fuel. We arrived in Hua Hin exactly on time. Good value for money.

Very straightforward trip, easy to navigate. Friendly driver who helped with information.
Only 1 note... in the booking confirmation you have the pick-up platform as "Platform 7", however the correct platform was "Platform 9" ... (this is also what your photo shows, so maybe a typo there?)
