バンで旅するメリットとデメリット
メリット
- 大型バスも電車も通っていない辺鄙な場所や小さな町や村に行くには、バンが唯一の手段のケースがあります。
- 大型バスは乗船不可でも、バンなら乗船可能な大型カーフェリーがあります。これらのフェリーを利用すれば、島々へも、バンで行けます。
- 大型バスに比べると車体が小さいため、道中での取り回しが良いです。特に目的地が遠くない場合は、移動時間が短くなることもあります。
- バンには停留所がありますが、停留所ではない場所で降りることも可能です。100%可能とは限りませんが、多くのドライバーは協力してくれるはずです。そうすれば、ターミナルから徒歩やタクシーで降りなければならなかった時間と費用の両方を節約できます。
デメリット
- 多人数乗車の場合、かなり窮屈に感じるかもしれません。足や肘を使うスペースは限られています。一部のバンでは、1枚のチケットで預けられる荷物は1個に制限されています。スーツケースやバックパックなど、荷物が多い場合は、荷物用のチケットを別途購入する必要があり、料金が2倍になります。
- すべてのバンがスケジュール通りに運行されているわけではありません。路線によっては、満席にならないと出発しない場合もあります。チケットを買う前にオペレーターに確認してください。バンが満員になるまで予想以上に長く待つことになるかもしれません。
- 他の交通手段でバンほど無謀なドライバーはいないでしょう。車両に速度制御ユニットを取り付けている会社もありますが、ドライバーが警告を無視し続け、走行中ずっとビープ音を鳴らしているケースは珍しくありません。バンで移動するときは、必ずシートベルトを着用しましょう。時にはシートベルトがどこにあるか、調べる必要があるかもしれません。
- 乗り物酔いしやすい人は、バン旅行の30分前に薬を飲んでおくとよいでしょう（特に、曲がりくねった道を通る場合）。バスよりもバンの方が乗り物酔いしやすいのです。

เคาน์เตอร์จำหน่ายตั๋วไม่เป็นมืออาชีพ The ticket counter was not professional. ผู้หญิงโง่กับสามีและลูกของเธอ A dumb woman with her husband and baby/dek. คนขับนั้นดีและเป็นคนดี The driver was good/fast and a nice guy/friendly. แต่เขาเห็นว่าฉันมีกระเป๋าเดินทางใบใหญ่หนึ่งใบและกล่องสองใบ But he see that I have one big luggage and two boxes. บ่นแล้ว ปากใหญ่. วิ่งไปที่เคาน์เตอร์ขายตั๋ว อื่น ๆ. เม้ามอย Blah blah blah 5555. Via 12go de exacte lokatie gekregen vanaf waar de minivan zou vertrekken! Dit klopte exacte!
We vertrokken dan ook eerder dan de aangegeven tijd omdat iedereen er al was! Dit was super fijn.
De minivan zelf is klein en je heb weinig ruimte voor je bagage. Gelukkig paste het allemaal net.
De rit zelf was erg fijn en ging super snel!
We kwamen zelf een uur eerder als de aangegeven tijd aan.
Hele fijne rit!

Checking in was pretty flexible and easy. Please be aware that the Market Village location is only open around the times busses depart. We visited the day before around 6pm, and it was closed.
Bus is fine, although a little cramped if you have long legs.
There is no space for luggage on the busses, so book an extra ticket for your suitcase / large backpack to avoid having it on your lap all day.
The bus stops quite a few times on the way to let people on and off. We got off at the Kamphaeng Phet MRT station, which is a good connection for public transport.

I got there early so I assume I got an earlier bus We were on the road before 1430, my booking was for 1600. Pulled into Hua Hin just after 1800. Adequate transport for a 3 hour journey. Reasonable price. Good service.

Your fine print is a little to fine and comes to late, when it comes to luggage. Saying a small van has only luggage space under the seat for one item after the booking is made is close to fraud.

Attendant at minivan stop at Hua Hin Market Village was very unpleasant. Got angry when I asked for a ticket with the correct time instead of two hours early. Minivan left a half-hour before departing time. Van smelled strongly of smoke, no doubt the driver smoked inside when it was empty. Ventilation was poor and one passenger thought it was fine to blast music from his phone. Van made an extremely annoying beeping sound every minute for three hours because driver wouldn't wear his seatbelt until he got to a toll near Bangkok. However, got to the destination on time.

Booking was easy and pricing reasonable, so that's thumbs up for 12GO. As for the trip it would have been better if the van didn't stop so many times. So many stops on the way: e.g. to pick up deliveries, people, etc. It felt like an omnibus at times. But, we still made it ahead of schedule, so good service overall.
The driver was talking over the phone a lot. He was using headphones and speaking softly, but he shouldn't be driving and talking on his phone all the time. It's dangerous.

the van is too hot, air conditioner is not working properly and keep on stopping along the way to pick up passenger.at one time, the van is full but the driver keep on taking passenger.
Driver also play loud music and sitting at the back row, I have to sit straight still for 3 hours and enduring the loud music. Leg room is too little. I'm a petite Asian with 5 ft 1", imagine if someone bigger than me, they really need to reconsider taking this van

The minibus startet one hour earlier, good for us. We had 2 cabin size luggage but had not to pay extra seat for it. The trip BKK to Hua Hin was ok and in 3.5h we reached destination. The fair was 230 Bat.

We had to go to counter 2 in building D, not 11. The operators are ride and unfriendly. The air con in the mini-van did not work properly and the fans not at all. The drivers pack the mini-van as full as possible and stop whenever they want to pick up extra people (if there is space), drop off and / or collect parcels. It is not a pleasant drive.

The app itself is good. You just show the receipt at the ticket counter then you are good to go but the quality of the van is not good,. A/C didn’t work, even with electric fans, it was pretty hot. The driver stopped at many stops, once he even picked up his wife and daughter to their home!

Musste 2 Tickets lösen (backpack und mich), Bus dann trotzdem übervoll. Kaum Ventilation. Für mich war es eine Horrorfahrt und dafür habe ich das doppelte bezahlt!!!! Schade.

Le chauffeur que nous avons eu était très désagréable et conduisait très mal, vitesse, zigzag, freinage pas coup, il ne pensait pas au confort de ses passagers, c'est la dernière fois que je prends ce type de transport

我预定的是下午2点的票，大概11:45到车站，车站直接就给我换了12点的票。从这次的行程看，只要是你在预定时间提前到，基本上是可以签到提前的票的。
今天的司机不错，开的比较稳当，3个小时就到Mochit了，在Mochit的地铁站附近，司机还特地停车下了一次客人，方便坐MRT的人。

Do not use during Songkran holiday. Ticket was for 12. Waited until 1:30 until departure from terminal D, Mo Chit. Baby sitting next to us, crying and vomiting. Just awful. Full van. Crazy. Driver had many stops on the way down. Despite all still made it to HuaHin by 5:15pm.

The return trip back was great. Bus was huge and air con was good. The vans always drop passengers off at different points so please be aware of where you want to alight. They do stop at kampaeng phet too with the mrt

Hi, sirs or madam,
I would like to briefly describe the reason why I only rate 2 stars for this rede. When we being assigned to a driver, he gently carried our luggages on the van. However, he somehow assigned my girlfriend and I to the very last row, which is extremely tiny and uncomfortable, as there were still lots of seat availability on the van. From my understanding, passenger is free to select his seat on will. Thus, we express our rejection politely because my girlfriend is easily to have carsick, especially on such uncomfortable seat. However, the conversation was between Thai and English user. After the rejection, the driver obviously expressed his emotion by a long sentence in Thai, maybe was trying to get the consensus from other passengers. The ride itself was ok, just a bit hot inside the van.

Van left 45 minutes late, had paid for a luggage seat as I was travelling with a large bag. However I still ended up with my bag in between my legs which wasn’t comfortable for a 4 hour journey. Van was nice an air conditioned, and got dropped off right outside our hostel which was great.

We were given the wrong ticket box number to collect our ticket from but once in the bus all was ok. Driver was safe( i.e. not speeding excessively) . We had a long refuelling stop on the way. It's a pity they don't refuel in Bangkok BEFORE picking up their passengers

We went to the van counter no 9 at hua hin 51 alley, after that i show them my copy ticket from online, after that the lady ask me to follow another lady, then ask the driver to bring us to the van.. After we depart from hua hin about 1hour, the driver ask me to show the ticket.. Then he said that ticket is not valid and ask me to pay another 180 bath... I told him i already paid online but he said not valid.. This is so frustrating

War zu früh dort wurde dann einfach 1 Stunde früher mitgenommen war alles etwas hektisch aber immer freundlich in 3 Stunden waren wir da .. alles gut Preis unschlagbar würde ich wieder machen
