Green Bus Thailandは、チェンマイにある中心拠点をベースに、タイ国内の幅広い路線を運行しているバス会社です。

GreenBusは非常に高い評判を得ており、その路線は南から北、北東から中央まで、タイの全地域を網羅しています。

原則として、同社のバスはタイ各地の主要なバスターミナル (通称 Bo-Ko-So) を使用します。これらのターミナルは、多くの場合、市街地から少し離れた場所に位置しています。

チェンマイでは、市内北東部のスーパーハイウェイ11号線沿いに位置する、最大かつ最新の第3バスターミナル (別名アーケード・バスターミナル) を使用しています。

Green Busが運行する路線

GreenBusは、タイ北部、南部、北東部、および中部地域をまたぐ広範な路線で運行しています。代表的な人気路線は以下の通りです。

チェンマイ–チェンライ

タイ北部で圧倒的に人気のあるチェンマイ–チェンライ線は、3種類のバスタイプが運行されており、旅行者は快適さやチケット料金に応じて選択することができます。

午前6時から午後7時まで、1日を通して運行されており、所要時間は4時間弱です。

チェンマイ–ラオス国境

GreenBusは、ラオスとの国境があるチェンコーンへ簡単にアクセスできる方法を提供しています。ここから第4タイ・ラオス友情橋を渡り、ラオスのボケーオ県フエイサイへ入国することができます。

チェンマイ–ミャンマー国境

チェンマイから、Green Busは以下のようなミャンマー国境の目的地への便を運行しています。

  • メーソート (ターク県): ミャンマー側の町、ミャワディと繋がっています。

  • メーサーイ (チェンライ県): ミャンマー側の国境の町タチレクと接続しており、タイ、ラオス、ミャンマーの国境が接する有名な黄金の三角地帯への玄関口でもあります。

チェンマイ–タイ北部のその他の目的地

Green Busがチェンマイから運行している、その他の人気なタイ北部の目的地は以下の通りです。

  1. ナーン
  2. プレー
  3. パヤオ
  4. ランパーン

チェンマイ＆チェンライ–プーケット

Green Busの最長路線は、タイ北部と南部のリゾート島プーケットを結ぶ路線です。

チェンマイおよびチェンライの両方からプーケット行きの便があり、所要時間はそれぞれなんと24時間と26時間です。

ピサヌローク–スラートターニー

Green Busは、北部からスラートターニーのドンサック桟橋まで陸路で移動し、そこからサムイ島、パンガン島、タオ島などのタイ湾の離島への乗り継ぎに最適な選択肢でもあります。

チェンマイ–バンコク

注意点として、GreenBusは現在バンコク行きの路線を運行していません。チェンマイやチェンライとバンコク間のバス移動には、他のバス会社を選択してください。

Green Busの座席タイプ

同社は以下の3つの異なるクラスのバスを運行しています。

  • Bus Express L
  • Bus Intercity Express XL
  • Bus VIP 24/32

GreenBusのVIPクラスは最も快適な移動手段です。VIPバスは通常1列4席のところを1列3席に配置した24〜32席となっており、肘置きや足元のスペースが広いため、移動全体の快適性が向上します。

これらのバスはピサヌローク–スラートターニー間のような長距離路線に最適ですが、料金は通常の特急バスよりも30〜50％ほど高くなります。

Bus Intercity Express XLは、高価なVIPと通常のバスの間の賢い妥協案です。

Bus Express Lは、チェンマイ–チェンライ間やランパーン間など、4〜5時間以内の短距離移動に適しています。

すべてのGreenBus車両はエアコン完備で、柔らかいリクライニングシートを備えているため、最も安価なLクラスであっても十分な選択肢となります。

Green Busのチケット

Green Busのチケットは、オンラインまたは同社の路線網に含まれるバスターミナルで予約できます。

公式サイトからオンライン予約も可能ですが、一部のページが英語に翻訳されていないなど言語の壁があり、必ずしも分かりやすいとは限りません。

特にプーケット行きなどの長距離路線、人気路線、または1日の運行本数が限られている路線については、オンラインで事前にチケットを購入することをお勧めします。

メリット

  1. GreenBusはタイの北部、南部、北東部、中部を広く網羅しているため、外国人旅行者にとって定番以外の目的地を含む多くの選択肢があります。

  2. すべてのクラスのバスがエアコン完備で、足元も広く広々としています。

  3. 同社には返金ポリシーがあり、チケットのキャンセルや変更が可能です (ただし、諸条件が適用されます)。

  4. Green Busの予約はオンラインで行うことができます。

  5. 長距離路線において、GreenBusでの陸路移動は飛行機を利用するよりも安価です。

  6. 車内で食事、飲み物、スナック、冷たいタオルが提供されます。

デメリット

  • ごく一部の古い車両にはトイレがありません。これらは短距離路線で使用されるため、通常は問題になりません。

  • 安価なExpressバスは途中の停車駅が多く、所要時間が長くなる場合があります。

  • 車両の状態にはばらつきがあり、古いモデルと新しいモデルが混在しています。そのため、清潔さや走行性能に差がある場合があります。

  • 降車場所は通常、各都市の主要なバスターミナルとなります。ホテルまでの移動手段は各自で計画する必要があります。

  • 車内にWi-FiやUSBポートはなく、娯楽設備も前方のテレビ画面1台のみの場合が多いため、長時間の移動には自身で娯楽を用意することをお勧めします。

    Trajet rapide et efficace de Chiang Mai à Chiang rai. Le billet sur téléphone suffit. La gare est bien agencée et le personnel de Green bus explique ou attendre. Tout est inscrit sur les bus donc c’est plutôt facile. Une petite bouteille d’eau est offerte ce qui est appréciable. Il manque un peu d’espace pour les jambes.

    The bus was 35 mins late, however we quickly boarded and headed off! The bus was so spacious and had comfy reclinable seats! We got given a bottle of water, snack and sick bag. I would recommend!! :)

    One of the most comfortable bus rides I had in Asia. Seats are extremely comfortable and the ride felt quite quick. We also arrived 2h early. In contrast to what another comment said, there was a USB charging outlet by ny seat. They're not lying about the temperature though. It was extreme even for this part of the world and the blankets thy gave us didn't help much. I'd recommend wearing layers

    air conditioner temperature control is always too cold, we have to wear enough to survive. I have traveled many times on the bus this route, with no one exception. could you let me know why? and doesn't this line operationer cherish the fuel? this trip seems that the filter of the air conditioner was dirty, I smelt the dust.

    The journey was smooth and on time. The ticket is very misleading as i thought I'd booked to chiang rai but it said mai sae. Turns out it stops in chiang rai en route but it doesn't say this anywhere and 12 go were not helpful. .

    The driver does makes stops on arrival in Chiang rai but doesn’t inform the passengers. Also no English when we asked where exactly we were. 12GO is the best way to get a ticket!

    We are tall people and we had to sit in the back of the mini van. My husband was completely stuck with his legs against the seat in front of him. Why is length not taken into account when classifying the bus? Now there were short people in the places with a lot of leg room and tall people in the places with little leg room.

    The bus was nice and comfortable. The toilet in the bus however was dirty and had no soap.
