メリット
- 列車の旅は、交通渋滞とは無縁の理想的なソリューションです。もちろん、遅延発生率はゼロではありませんが、一般的にラッシュアワーや連休、ハイシーズンの大混雑でも、列車の時間は狂いません。
- 列車チケットのオンライン予約は、時間を大幅に節約してくれます。基本的に旅行日の90日前から予約可能で、計画が立てやすいです。また、直前予約も可能です。予約のために駅に行く必要もなく、いつでも好きな場所で予約できます。
- 基本的に、列車のチケットは航空券よりもはるかにリーズナブルです。空港でのチェックインや保安・税関手続きの時間を考えれば、高速鉄道の移動時間は航空券と同等か、それ以上に短縮可能となる路線もあります。
- 駅は街の中心部にあることがとても多い為、宿泊先までの時間を大幅に短縮することができます。古い駅には、歴史的建造物を利用した雰囲気のあるものも多いです。このような駅への行き来は、旅行プラン全体の中で重要なポイントになるでしょう。
- 寝台列車なら、昼間の時間を他の楽しみに回せるだけでなく、ホテル代も節約できます。ぐっすり眠れる快適さは、寝台バスとは比較になりません。

デメリット
- 距離が長ければ長いほど乗車時間も長くなるので、長距離移動の場合はとても時間がかかります。そのため、費用はかかっても飛行機での移動の方が良い場合もあります。
- また、乗り継ぎには十分な注意が必要です。通常、時刻表が決められていますが、さまざまな理由で遅延やキャンセルが発生する可能性があります。もうひとつ考慮すべきは、列車が発着する駅の位置です。都市や場所によっては、複数の駅が存在するため、混乱を招くこともあります。

The team was helpful.. I entered wrong email and they support me and send me the ticket after the confirm my details.. Was great experience.. but I booked 2 tickets and it wasn’t together.. it was separate chairs and in different spots

The train crew made me put my tiny dog into a carrying bag (that I luckily had but never used) where she's never traveled in 11 years of her life so she was really scared. I had to sit with her throughout the whole journey (5 hours) on the stairs to the second cart floor in the train vestibule, the crew wouldn't let me into the cart. This is borderline animal cruelty and I was deprived of the proper service I purchased. Also, no rules concerning bringing an animal on board were brought to my attention while making a purchase.

Hot food and drinks required for so long trip - 5-6 hours.
Besides, cold fridge (both) get empty within a 2-3 hours... so, they doesn't help much..

I had booked business class but could not feel the impact of it although it was approx. 3-4 times than second class ticket. Wifi was not working. No Latte Coffee was available (hostess mentioned that only available option is Americano). Except table between the seats I could not find any other benefit of travelling with business class.

Alles perfekt geklappt, wenn auch mit total veralteter Technik. Die DB ist wohl moderner uns gepflegter, aber ihre Zuverlässigkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Ich bin mit dem Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sehr zufrieden

Лучше транспорта от Батуми до Тбилиси не придумаешь и по стоимости, и по комфорту! Просторные вагоны, есть аппарат со снеками. Единственная проблема - это отсутствие возможности выбора мест при бронировании билетов онлайн. Нас было четверо 2 взрослых и 2 ребенка, а система разбросала нас по всему вагону, при этом было свободное место рядом с одним из выданных мест, чем мы конечно и воспользовались.

I made an secound reservation . Now from kutaisi to batumi.on the 16th of june. at 11:10
The boardingadress was NOT the good one.
I payed about €13 for the BUStour.
ALL FOR NOTHING
The taxidriver also fond it very strange
I feel cheated.
Now i have to go to the airport ,buying a new ticket . Another 13 Euro.

I recommend to provide seat selection, Carriage and deck (upper/lower) to be included while booking. I don't mind the commissions and the seat selection could have made my travel and booking experience excellent with 12Go

Train was fine , but no wifi, no charging points , no paper in toilet, no chance to nuy any drinks.that was in economy. Comfortable seats, 1 hour less than bus .
Checking into the train takes long time, one lady with a paper list of passengers.
