Naturalmente il viaggio da Phuket a Koh Tao è lungo, ma tutto è filato liscio e il viaggio è stato ben organizzato. Dopo circa 2 ore di guida, abbiamo fatto una sosta di 30 minuti in un'area di sosta con prezzi umani e anche la gestione al porto è andata bene. Invece delle 17:00 siamo arrivati alle 18:15. Non credo che si possa fare molto prima, ma per noi andava bene così.

Natürlich ist es eine lange Reise von Phuket nach Koh Tao, aber alles lief reibungslos ab und die Fahrt wurde gut organisiert. Nach ca. 2 Stunden Fahrt haben wir einen 30-minütigen Stopp an einer Raststätte mit humanen Preisen gemacht und die Abwicklung am Hafen hat auch gut geklappt. Anstatt um 17:00 Uhr kamen wir um 18:15 Uhr an. Viel früher geht das denke ich auch nicht, aber das war ok für uns.

Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso da quanto il viaggio sia stato tranquillo. L'autobus è partito in orario e abbiamo fatto una sosta per il pranzo prima di arrivare al molo. Il viaggio in barca è stato più lungo e agitato (ci hanno fornito sacchetti di plastica...), siamo arrivati con circa un'ora di ritardo rispetto alle 17:00, ma in tutta comodità. Siamo rimasti sempre sulla stessa barca mentre i passeggeri venivano fatti scendere a Koh Samui e Koh Phangan.

I was pleasantly surprised at how smooth the journey was. The bus started on time we had a stop for lunch before arriving at the pier. The boat ride was longer and choppy (they provided plastic bags..), we arrived about 1 hour later than the scheduled 5 pm but all in comfort. We stayed in the same boat all the time while passengers were dropped off at Koh Samui and Koh Phangan.

Il viaggio in autobus è stato ok, vecchi autobus ma abbastanza belli. Ma la gita in barca è stata una delle cose più disorganizzate che abbia mai visto. Quando uno degli autobus era in ritardo non hanno iniziato a caricare tutti gli altri. invece hanno aspettato che fosse vicino, così invece di 15 minuti di ritardo dal molo abbiamo avuto 45 minuti di ritardo. Poi lo scarico a ogni fermata è durato 30 minuti. E quando hanno confuso un bagaglio a una fermata, nessun altro è potuto salire finché non hanno trovato quel bagaglio, quindi abbiamo perso altri 10 minuti. Alla fine credo che abbiamo accumulato quasi 90 minuti di ritardo, tutti a causa di un viaggio in barca non organizzato.

Bus trip was ok, old buses but pretty nice. But the boat trip was one of the most unorganized things i ever seen. When one of the buses was late they didnt started to load everyone else. instead they waited until it was close, so instead of 15 min late from the pier we where 45 min late. Then the unloading at each stop took 30 min. And when they mixed up one bag at one stop, no new could get on until they found that bag, so there we lost another 10 min. In the end i think we where close to 90 min late all because of unorganized boat trip.

Everything went smoothly, we were sat on a van instead of the bus since the bus was full, but we weren't complaining, was very comfortable. Though since we took the van, I can't say anything about the comfort of the bus. Overall everything was good and service too.

It would have been good to know in advance when the bus would stop and how many times. The driver was really friendly but it would be good if they could speak a little more English or at least give you a brochure so you know what's going on and who will be staying at each stop.

They forgot to pick me up from my hostel, even asking the day before and the same morning.
After an hour and a half waiting they told me that they were at the airport and I needed to grab a taxi to catch them, that was 85 minutes away from my hostel. (at least they paid for that)

Driver was raiding so fast as a crazy one.
We had an accident with a scooter and because of that we spent almost 2 hours stoped on the road.
The pier was terrible! Dirty and disgusting!!

The bus was on time, and we only waited 20 minutes to board the Ferry. They do weigh your bags before you board the bus, so be prepared to pay 200 Bhat if your bag weighs more than 20kgs. Bus was very clean with black leather seats, pretty comfy. Ferry was great, crew was all helpful and friendly. Would recommend using them!
