Bus was old , crowded. Seats very uncomfortable and although they reclined a metal bar between the seat part and back dug into my back so made it painful to have it reclined. There was either no aircon or it came on intermittent with such a cold blast it was freezing. Will not book with this company again

The locking of the backrest was broken. The seat belt did not work for the replacement seat. Old worn out bus. The VIP was only three seats per row. I know that in Thailand differently! Staff very friendly!

We were late at least one hour and a half and I was late at the Thai Consulate in Savannakhet. And as the Songkran time is close, there wes a loooong line, but lucky we were to have the Thai officers who spent extra time for submitting visa applications, many thanks to them. Honestly, I do not mind drivers making business with packages, but, please, write the correct time in the ticket and no expections then. Unfortunetely, far not all operators can be bought online. Many buses go not full, but you have to buy online as going to a bus station in Bangkok takes too much time & extra cash.

Bkk to Mukdahan 12/10/18. Friendly and helpful staff at counter, spoke English. Easy to find the counter and the bus. 10-15 mins in total from arriving at station. Left 10 mins late, arrived 40 mins late (7:10) - not bad with holiday traffic and in good time for first bus to Savannakhet. Older one-deck bus, armrest was broken, no biggie. Comfortable seats though and good leg space. Actually better than most "VIP" busses I've been on, that either has leather (!) or seats that looks fancy but are not designed for human anatomy. Water, cookies and blanket provided - hardly needed, aircon was comfortable for a change. Basic toilet at the back. 20 min break at 00:30. No food voucher incl. here, but tbh I've never seen the point in food at that time. Rather save the money. I'm not good at sleeping in busses, but the comfy seats, quiet (!) passengers and smooth driving made me able to catch a few hours. No disturbances apart from the last hour or so when ppl get off at various stops. Only minus was that they turned off the lights around 20.30 - incl. reading lights. Thought they should leave that option for the passengers to choose. Overall a nice trip and good value for money. Btw, kudos to 12go - I accidentally started reading their terms and for the first time ever read to the end! :-)

The bus has delayed from the original bus station for 1.30 hrs. Then they drop people off many places. Not express route. We end up spending 11 hrs in the bus instead of 9.30 hrs.

I purchased a ticket for a VIP bus with lay down seats and TV screens from Mukdahan to Bangkok. When I arrived at the bus station, I was told there was no VIP bus. They put me on a local bus. Fortunately, it arrived in Bangkok in time, but it is really frustrating to see that there were two VIP buses at the terminal leaving Mukdahan at the same time as my local bus with stops every 20 minutes.

Staff were friendly and no complaints there. On the express service the leg room is a little tight. My only real negative is I went into the toilet and walked straight back out again. It just wasn't clean and if I took the bus again I would ensure I had been to the toilet before leaving :) Can't really complain for just over 500 baht and all the staff on the 3rd floor at the bus station where you get your tickets were so friendly and helpful.

We had daily trip to Mukdahan (8:30 from BKK) at VIP bus. All was fine, except there was NO any plug or USB charger! But on website was mention that there is plugs onboard. Very dissapointed and said: spent all day without music. Guys it's 2017 and it's very easy to make USB chargers everywhere! Pleaaaaaaase! All the rest was fine: bus has toilet, drinking water, even some lunch was included and no delay at arriving at all! But please, make chargers!!!

Comfortable seat for me with adequate leg room. Timing wasn't an issue for me but arrive at Mukdahan @ 08.45 am, not good if you're getting a visa from Savannakhet. Staff helpful at Mo Chit ticket corner so overall very happy with the whole trip

Bus had some mechanical problems which required many stops. Maybe changing electrical fuses...I don't know. There was a nasty toilet smell during the whole of my trip (seat 15). Bus was supposed to arrive Mochit at 5:20 but actually arrived after 6 AM, more than 45 minutes late. We stopped at the bus station for dinner at 2 AM which I think was too late for a scheduled arrival at 5:20. Better maintenance of the bus should be performed before trips.

New Years eve trip at 9 pm out of crowded Bangkok went well even though bus left a little late but considering extra buses on we had a safe trip on older bus but had water and biscuits nad stop for a break comforttable air con seats to sleep some hours overnight only furang on bus and probably two others we saw at terminal whole time but no problem one or two spoke some english to make sense of where to go and what to do in respect of stop luggage andbus changes would recommend as a way to travel to Mekong river region or Pattaya or Rayong or Yasothon Mukdahan of Laos or Cambodia ...just get to terminal at least one hour before to get ticket sorted and where bus goes from

Seats comfortable, with decent leg room, and reclined enough to be able to catch a nap okay. However, not much room under the seat for carry-on bag and no overhead storage space (unless you can find room to leave bag on storage shelf over driver's head). If you put carry-on bag by your feet, then you cannot reclined seat. Overhead A/C which you can control, so it was comfortable but not freezing. I was lucky to have one that did not drip; but one other passenger I saw was not so lucky. Keep in mind, like most long-distance Thai commuter service, the bus will probably arrive or depart late...or even if it's a daytime trip, you will likely experience traffic or construction which will delay your arrival time at your destination. In my case, the bus departed Mo Chit/Bangkok on time (8:30am), but arrived in Yasothon a good two hours past the scheduled 3:45pm. Also liked, as one reviewer so tactfully put it, no "smelly farang backpackers". Another reviewer here commented about lack of Wi-Fi ... that didn't concern me, but it would be nice if the bus had a plug-in port at each seat to charge phone. Very nice rest stop and price of bus fare includes a 25 baht voucher for food/snacks (do not discard your ticket because you need to exchange the stub for your voucher at the rest stop). Bus also provided a bottle of (warm) water, a bottle of (warm) soymilk and a bag of cookies as snack. Bus drivers were friendly enough, though if you do not speak Thai (I speak a fair share) you may find it difficult to understand to follow any announcements being made. Overall, worth the ticket price and would likely use the service again if traveling by bus is my only option.

Relatively quiet night bus service. Seats comfortable, with decent leg room, and reclined enough to be able to catch a nap okay. Overhead A/C which you can control, so it was comfortable but not freezing. On the return from Yasothon to Mo Chit (Bangkok), the bus was already nearly full by the time it reached Yasothon, so I was not given the seat I actually reserved on line (and had to ticket to prove). I reserved a window seat, because for overnight trips, it's nice to have a window to lay my head upon. Instead, I was given an aisle seat, which was still satisfactory and comfortable, just not what I reserved (I did not complain or whine to driver; in Thailand one learns to take it as it comes and go with the flow). However, if one is given the option to reserve a seat, one should get that seat. Also, keep in mind like most long-distance Thai commuter service, the bus will probably arrive late. The Yasothon-Mo Chit bus was supposed to depart at 10:10pm. It didn't arrive until 10:35 and didn't depart until 10:50. I did like that there was some overhead storage space within the bus, so I could store a musical instrument I wanted to carry onboard. Also liked, as one reviewer so tactfully put it, no "smelly farang backpackers". Another reviewer here commented about lack of Wi-Fi ... that didn't concern me, but it would be nice if the bus had a plug-in port at each seat to charge phone. Pleasant 2am stop for snack/meal, with 15 baht voucher included, though not as many options to choose from at 2am compared to the day trip. Bus does provide a bottle of (warm) water and a bag of cookies as snack. Bus drivers were friendly enough, though if you do not speak Thai (I speak a fair share) you may find it difficult to understand to follow any announcements being made. Overall, worth the ticket price and would likely use the service again if traveling by bus is my only option.

Really good trip. Departure time is a guide not a fixed idea. I had to call the helpline to find out where the bus was as there were no staff at the station to tell me. It seemed to stop at every village later in the evening. I would also have liked wifi available or at least charging points on the bus. Overall a very nice service, thank you.

Got me from A to B, and even though I knew beforehand that it wasn't going to be a pleasant trip, I had hoped that I would be able to sleep through most of it but it is not so easy to sleep with a noisy air conditioning unit dripping on you virtually the whole way (with no spare seats to change to). Took the very same bus back, air conditioning still dripping but fortunately not on me. I bought a VIP ticket, seats and leg room identical to the cheaper seats, but on the plus side, I did get about 20 baht's worth of snacks. Oh and both buses arrived about 2 hours late. Bottom line, good service from 12go, but if I ever had to make a trip like this again, it probably wouldn't be with this particular bus company.
