Poorly organized. The van was supposed to leave at 12. We were told to wait at our pick up location from 11. We were collected 12.15, drove around town without any information til 13.30. Then we waited 45 more minutes at the bus station for no appearant reason, still no information. The bus did not have aircon and the safety belts did not work. Not safe for kids. We arrived at 19, 3 hours later than schedueled.

Bus had windows down the whole way lots of dust on the way the road was bad which can not be helped by operators but they need to move around the road over pot holes and if the windows are down alot of dust is inhaled over the 4 1/2 hours

The van made many stops in Luang Prabang for unclear purposes (it wasn't to pick up passengers) and only left Luang Prabang at 10am. Consequently, arrival in Nong Khiaw was 2 hours later than planned.

Even though it did last 10 hours, it was a bit better than my previous 6.5 hour one. Better van and a bit more comfortable, he made a could stops and a food break which was good. But the journey is long and still not great… best of a bad situation I’d say!
