Lotus Phibun Tour is a bus company in Thailand that offers transport services from Bangkok to a number of destinations in the northeastern region of the country, including Nakhon Phanom, Ubon Ratchathani, Sisaket, Surin, and Sakon Nakhon.
Their buses come fully furnished with reclining seats with reinforced cushions, air-conditioning, and washrooms. Passengers on the VIP coaches also enjoy the services of a steward, food, snacks, and a TV for entertainment. It is important to note that buses use extensive air conditioning to avoid water condensing.
Routes served by Lotus Phibun Tour
Bangkok–Nakhon Phanom
From Bangkok to Nakhon Phanom, Lotus Phibun Tour VIP and VIP24 buses leave Morchit, Bangkok at 6.30pm and arrive in Nakhon Phanom at 6.40am the following day, the duration of the journey being 12 hours and 10 minutes. A VIP bus ticket will cost THB 700 and VIP24 THB 950.
An express bus leaves Nakhon Phanom for Morchit, Bangkok at 5.30pm and arrives at 5.50am. At 6.30pm, you can board the VIP and VIP24 buses and alight 12 hours and 20 minutes later at 6.50am. You require THB 600 for the express bus ticket, THB 700 for the VIP bus, and THB 950 for the VIP24 coach.
Prior to reach their terminus in Nakhon Phanom, the same buses call en route to Sakon Nakhon. The VIP and VIP24 buses depart at 6.30pm and arrive 10 hours and 40 minutes later at 5.10am. The express bus leaves the station at 8.30pm and stops at Sakon Nakhon the following day at 5.10am. A VIP ticket costs THB 630, a VIP24 ticket THB 840, and an express bus ticket THB 540.
Bangkok–Ubon Ratchathani
Three express buses depart Morchit, Bangkok for Ubon Ratchathani, a journey that takes 10 hours and 50 minutes. The first bus leaves at 7.00am and arrives at 5.50pm, the second bus at 7.30pm to 6.20am, and the last coach at 9.45pm to 8.35am. The price of your ticket will be THB 500.
If you are traveling to Sisaket, you can use the same Ubon Ratchathani-bound 7.00am express bus and arrive at 4.10pm or board the evening express bus at 9.45pm and alight in Sisaket at 6.55am. The total duration of the journey is 9 hours and 10 minutes and the price of the ticket THB 420.
It takes 7 hours and 15 minutes from Bangkok to Surin, via a Lotus Phibun Tour bus. If you prefer to travel during the day, then the 7.00am bus is ideal for you. You'll alight at 2.15pm. Alternatively, you can board the 9.30pm bus at Morchit, Bangkok and arrive in Surin at 4.45am. You require THB 400 to secure a ticket for this trip.
Keep in mind
Bangkok's northern bus station is expansive, but you can get there from MRT subway station Kamphaeng Phet or BTS Skytrain Mo Chit station by taxi. It costs less that THB 50.

Travellers generally enjoy Lotus Phibun Tour service. However, as on almast any bus trip in Thailand, AC can be freezing and there is lack of Wifi on the bus as advertised.
When you want to travel in comfort, choose a Lotus Phibun Tour bus. You’ll enjoy the comfortable, reclining seats, TV for entertainment if you board the VIP buses, snacks, and drinking water. Carry warm clothes though, to avoid the freezing AC temperatures.
