Excellent connection, landed 8.30, luggage pick up is 5 minutes, in the airport hall turn left look for seatran sign. The ferry connection was easy, appr. 45 min. waiting time, so you have time for coffee or to grab a hot meal.

Koh Samui to Bangkok during the night. No need to print the tickets. Ferry was on time and it was easy to find our transfer for the train (which was 30 min late but it happens).
The 3rd class train is really not a good idea, lights on all night, ventilators turn on & impossible to turn off, windows open so it’s pretty cold & lots of noises from outside that you can’t block. Seats are uncomfortable & 2x2 facing each others so you don’t have any way to try to sleep peacefully.
People come to sell a variety of food & drinks (coffee), it’s still better to buy beforehand tho ; but during the night they keep on coming every 20 min screaming so it’s impossible to sleep. Bathrooms uncleaned and without paper but it’s to be expected on a train.
I saw the seats on 2nd class & they did look a bit better but I think if you don’t book a bed it’s not a good idea to travel by train. Cheapest option but I won’t do it again, the night bus seats were way more comfortable & it was less noisy.

롬프라야보다 배가 더 많아서 수시로 탈수가 있고 사람이 덜 타서 쾌적하다. 전체적인 시스템이 잘 되어 있어 다른 교통수단으로 연결이 용이하다. 정시에 출도착한다.

Organisation und Ablauf waren prima. Allerdings war der klapprige Minivan mit Gepäck und Fahrgästen überfüllt und die 1,5 stündige Fahrt zur Fähre sehr ungemütlich. Die Fähre war ziemlich alt und schäbig.

online ticket was more expensive (about 240 vs 170 baht) and the boarding process is a little complicated for prepaid tickets. I guess the only good that I got out of electronic tickets is paperless.

Hat eugentlich alles super geklappt. Jedoch der Fahrer wirkte sehr beunruhigend und suchte wärend der ganzen Fahrt irgend etwas. Auch war der Fahrer immer wieder am Handy und sprach ganz aufgeregt. Somit war die Fahrt für mich nicht entspannend.

Ехали с друзьями с Пхукета на Самуи. Взяли такси до порта, а билеты на паром через 12go.
Сначало пришла бронь, а минут через 5-10 билеты. Билеты покупали на 14:00, но приехали в 11:30, по тем же билетам сели на 12 часовой без проблем. Сервисом остались довольны

The boat was on time (I think it even left early so make sure to arrive there 30 minutes before departure time) but we didn’t really know where to go as they aren’t lots of indication to tell us the way and it was a bit difficult to carry our suitcases on the ferry. (The stairs are steep and nobody was available to help us).

Even when I asked if everything with the ticket is fine, I got no adequate response.

Really straightforward. There are lots of people waiting at ferry Terminal who will make sure you get on the right bus / ferry. When you get off the ferry just walk to the car park and there someone will make sure you get on the right van.

The Seatran Staff was a wonderful help when things got a little confusing because 12go asia did not send all vouchers. And even though I was the only traveller in the van the trip was not cancelled and on time. Best experience! Thanks

Die Klimaanlage war so runter gedreht, (Führe 5:30 Uhr) dass wir trotz Pullover, langer Hosen etc. so gefroren haben und 2 Tage später krank waren. Auf Nachfrage beim Personal, ob man es wärmer machen könnte, haben die uns abgewiesen.

All was well organized and everything was easy to find (self-explaining signs). The bathroom was clean and the ferry was perfectly on time. A very good option to travel.

The night train from Bangkok was 2 hours late at the arrival but the operator at Surat Thani changed our tickets with no problem.
Arrived at Surat Thani train station, there was ladies to help us to find the book agency. I recommend this trip.

I booked additional support service and this was no where to be found. I had no idea that I could purchase the ticket upon arriving at Sura Thani airport upon arrival and had only seen a ticket online from the town office.
When I contacted the counter they informed me that I could pay a small price and get a transfer to the office for 100 thb. This never happened as the assistant didn't ensure that I was on the correct bus. After getting on the wrong bus with the wrong company she again proceeded to tell me that I couldn't get a transfer to the office without paying an extortionate amount of money for my bike bag which I had arranged earlier.
Eventually, she found me a local taxi at a hire price than normal (surcharge for bike) to the office in town. I didn't have a choice here and the communications and dealings were simply challenging.
I won't pre-book again. Nor pay for assisted service.

Checked in at the bus pick up point no problems .
Took an hour to reach the ferry port smooth ride AC bud, plenty of space.
Ferry also a smooth crossing 90mins sun deck and I closed AC seats with fresh cooked noodles and snack shop with drinks and both hot and cold food reasonably priced .

We needed to change the ticket but 12 Go support was inaccessible and we have no way contacting 12 Go over the phone and Seatran ferry customer service cannot modify the booking as 12 Go should arrange it. Furthermore, price is cheaper if we get the same ticket at the pier costs 250 bahts per person while we paid 420 bahts per person for this booking via 12 Go.
I would not want to arrange the ferry ticket with 12 Go anymore.

Everthing worked great. Ferry was confortable and on time. Bus was unfortunately very old and had no toilet. But there was a short stop after half of the way.
Would book another trip with Seatran.

Паром отличный-вполне новый и комфортный. Шел свои 1,5 часа. А дальше начались приключения-посадили в древний автобус-тарантас и поехали собирать со всех причалов пассажиров. А потом повезли на нем в Сураттхани, а это лишних 68 км. Если учесть, что при скорости 60 км в час автобус практически взлетал-так ревел двигатель, то понятно, что это не очень приятно и комфортно. До сих пор не понял, зачем сделали крюк и заехали в Сураттхани, наверно для того, чтобы пересадить в другой (более новый) автобус и тоже не спеша повезти в Пхукет таун. Вместо заявленных 6 часов в дороге были 9 часов. И еще час добирались до Патонга-пробки у них в это время. Много путешествуя по Таиланду скажу, что это обычная практика. Не верьте описаниям и берите дешевые билеты-разницы нет никакой.

Der Transfer vom Flughafen zum Pier war per Reisebus. Leider nicht wie angegeben um 13.20 Uhr sondern erst um 13.45 Uhr. Nicht schlimm, aber wir haben extra Zeit eingeplant, um rechtzeitig dort zu sein, was nicht nötig gewesen wäre. Die Überfahrt mit der Fähre war gut. Auf Koh Samui hatten wir die Weiterfahrt mit einem Taxi gebucht. Ganz bewusst per Taxi, um zu vermeiden, dass wir noch etliche andere Hotels abklappern müssen. Es erwartete uns ein Minivan, der auch nur auf uns wartete. Allerdings ließ sich der Fahrer von einem anderen Gast dazu bringen, ihn auch mitzunehmen. Dementsprechend sind wir dann doch noch einige Umwege gefahren. Das war einfach ärgerlich, weil uns da nochmal über 30 Minuten verloren gegangen sind.

Seatran boat is actually a large cruiseschip. Very comfortable with 2 shops and 3 floors with a sundeck with sunbeds. In the boat you can also put your car and a few busses came out. You can sit outside or inside with airconditioning and tv. Boat left on time and arrived on time. Staff was very helpful and you wont feel any waves. We could see part of An Thong Marinepark and on the other side was a beautiful sunset. Most comfortable boatride ever.

Ferry was allright, just on time.
But driver to the Surathani bus station (22.03) was awful.
Before 10 minutes till we got the bus station he's made a stop and told us that it's a bus station and we have to get off the minibus. Our 2 y.o daughter was sleeping, we woke her up. Outside there was his friend that told me about tuk-tuk to the bus station for extra 100 batt per person. And at the same time our driver was leaving us quietly.
I've just started to shout and hit his door and he let us in again.
Official driver, how is it possible? It's incredible for me :)

Little bit of a flawed system, the ladies at the seatran coach station didn’t have a clue what to do with my E-Ticket. I had to insist to get on the earlier coach in order to get on my ferry in time. However, Ferry port was nice and easy.

I was concerned about the travel and timings but for no reason.
Simple to get to the ferry terminal, straight forward to collect tickets, bit traditional car ferry but 2 passenger decks 1 fully enclosed 1 open, we sat on the upper open deck nice views of the island and coast. Comfortable seats on 1st deck. The ferry was 1/2 empty but it was the end of July not high season. Slower than lomp high speed ferry but cheaper much nicer and I’d recommend this highly

Perfect on time and very good and cheap connection from Ko Samui to Sura Thani airport. And...a minivan with comfortable Seats and enough leg space
