Vietjet Air refused to allow correction of passenger name (from the usual abbreviated version of my first name 'Ben' to the full name as in passport 'Benedict'), even 3 days in advance of the return leg of the flight, though I had admitted the error and provided ample proof of identity, and contacted the airline customer support by phone and email to arrange correction. I was forced to pay for an extra ticket at the airport for both legs. This was unnecessary, not required by Thai authorities, and humiliating for me.

Flight was bumpy, and seats very narrow, flight was really packed @air asia . Otherwise really smooth experince with 12 go asia, everything is always on the dot on time, very helpful and friendly. Seatran was great with cozy bus and high speed ferry, ferry was a little over packed from ko samui to ko Taathoa not everybody had seats,

Выдали 3 билета. Посадили на лодку. Я ехал первый раз, никто не предупредил когда сходить с лодки. Вышел на первой остановке. Проверили билет посадили а автобус и ВНИМАНИЕ никто не заметил что в билете у меня указан другой Аэропорт. В результате привезли меня в аэропорт О. Самуи, а не Суратхани. Пришлось покупать билет от туда в банког. Из за невнимательности перевозчика и моего не знания местности попал на 200 долл.
Будте внимательны! Тайцам пофиг куда вы едите и что написано в билете

Excellente organisation, tout s’est très bien passé, bateau à l’heure, le bus (de qualité) nous attendait, arrivée largement en avance à l’aéroport. Check-in suer rapide. Vraiment je recommande si vous avez du temps car Bangkok Airways sur Kho Samui abuse au niveau des prix. Mais c’est quand même plus long, c’est le seul inconvénient parce que tout était impeccable.

The transfer by ferry and the shared shuttle bus to our hotel worked very well.
However, the ferry is pretty old and they don’t help you with your suitcases - so be prepared to keep your bags by your side all the time!

That was way smoother and cozier than expected. The start was a bit confusing but it was eventually sorted out by waiting at Ko Lanta Saladan Pier when somebody came to pick us up (at 8:00 AM instead of 7:00 AM as written on a ticket). The travel was made in four stages:
1. Van - Pickup at Ko Lanta Saladan Pier at 8AM (instead of 7AM), a guy came to collect us - 1h ride
2. Bus - From Krabi to pier on north (we got tickets to ferry and taxi here) - aprox. 1h wait and chill here + 3h ride
3. High-speed ferry - From the pier to Koh Samui and then Koh Phangan - 2h ride
4. Private van taxi to any hotel at Koh Phangan (just tell them where you're going and write it down on your ticket before) - for us 20 min drive
Recommended for travelers from Southern islands to Northern islands :)

Booked a trip from Phangan to Samui. 300 THB per Person. 30 Minutes.
Everything alright but it was hard to get a seat outside.
Note to everybody: let the staff help you with the luggage and do not do it by your own.

Au départ le bateau c'est arrêté 20min bien après le port de Samui. Le bateau est resté 1h00 en pleine mer à plus 1 km de la côte. Le bateau était très vieux, et tout rouillé. Les passagers mettaient les gilets de sauvetage. Personne ne nous a informé de la situation. Les marins réparaient le moteur à coup de marteau qui raisonnaient, un employé du bateau fumait au dessus de la trappe de la cale du bateau, personne de l'équipage n'a empêché les touristes de fumer autour de lui. Le bateau tanguait énormément, ce n'était pas un moment agréable.

For Thailand it's fine and our trip was on time with no issues. Yes maybe they could do better with organization but you have to go into this being flexible and account for possible delays

Le voyage s'est bien passé. Aucune organisation à l'arrivée pour récupérer les bagages, tout le monde venait récupérer en même temps.

El viaje no estuvo mal, pero se agradecería más información de como es el traslado. Cogimos un ferry de Koh Tao hasta Ko Pha Ngan. Cambiamos de barco para ir hasta Donsak haciendo parada en Ko Samui. El autobús que nos llevaba hasta la ciudad de Krabi lo cogimos de milagro porque no paramos de preguntar a todo el mundo, no gracias a la información que ellos nos daban de primeras. Una vez en Krabi, nos montaron en un mini van que nos llevó al pier donde un long tail nos estaba esperando para llevarnos por fin a Railay.
Además, llegamos 1 hora más tarde a nuestro destino. Nos quedamos con que llegamos a nuestro destino y esta odisea merece totalmente la pena.

Guten Tag, Transport hat alles geklappt. Minus Punkte für schlechte Belüftung . Auch würde ich gerne erfahren für was wir für extra Service bezahlt haben oder was er beinhaltet . Bei Lomprayha Office haben sie uns sogar ausgelacht und gemeint das wahre ein Deal zwischen euch und mir und sie hätten damit nichts zu tun. Was nun? Einfach verarsche? Picked up on time and arrival on time. However complete confusion at Saladan Pier. Driver arrived and didnt want to drive us, they had call someone to confirm he would drive us. Seems like seatran outsources their rides. Very poor communication overall, made a few stops on the way. Would advise to book return through your hotel as we later learned this was a cheaper option

On y dort plutôt bien, la couchette du bas passe très bien pour un couple, même si au final on avait celle du haut pour nous aussi. Le mec qui aide pour mettre en place toutes les couchettes de la voiture n'est pas très sympathique, et refuse toute aide de notre part, voilà pourquoi j'enlève 1 etoile.

Everything worked really well. I did not have to print out my voucher and got my ticked fast. The ferry was good, we arrived quite on time. Also the transport from the pier to the hotel worked without problems.

We (tourists) were treated like stock, Thai staff arrogant, highly unfriendly, not helpful to à single mom of 2. Didn’t want to accept the ticket bought through 12go, telling me I needed a paper ticket... unables to use the flashcode on my phone.
The ferry dirty, security standards doubtful, lifejackets in Bad shape, no escape way other than a single, very small staircase for both levels.

The exit at koh samui should be better organized. Only one exit was open for both people and luggages, which caused blockage of the way and it took forever to get off the ship.

It took as promised 8h. All was organized, no problems. As a ticket was only until to the pier we paid extra for a van owner to bring us directly to the hotel in Lanta. Next time I would try a private transport from hotel to hotel with 5h, see thaiwisely.com. This time we were suspicious because of no information who and how, couldn't find any comments either.

Bus part was without issues (or so I thought). When we made it to the pier where we needed to take the ferry, the bus guys told us to get out of the bus without other instructions. Took us a few minutes but we finally figured out which way to go. Were then promptly told by the Seatran lady at the ferry terminal to RUN because the ferry was leaving NOW and our tickets were non-refundable. We had at no point been informed of when the ferry was scheduled to leave or that we were late coming off the bus. Off we go, running with backpacks and suitcases and what not to catch the ferry. Not that I wouldn't just have bought another ticket had we missed the ferry, but how hard can it be to keep your passengers informed?

Check in with e-ticket with barcode on your telephone is not possible. You are sent back to a counter to get a paper ticket. So do not queu before getting your paper ticket.

The first part or the trip which is ferry was fine but as we booked the trip with hotel transfer, we also had taxi trip. The driver was quite disgusting. We saw him deliberately throwing away plastic on the street which is horrible. Only moments ago we saw people collecting the rubbish around the island and there are people like him who don't care at all! He also was disgusting waving the tip box in front of everyone's faces. He also chew very loud during the whole trip to make it worse.
