Charging 5 USD for the visa (on top of the visa fee) is fine by me, let's call it a service fee. But why the hell do I need to pay another dollar for having an e-visa for Vietnam when I am leaving Vietnam, this I won't understand. You need a bribe- fine, but please let me know beforehand, because I had no dollars left and was thus threatened by the fat cat Vietnamese immigration officer as well as the bus staff who was fully cooperating with him. It's not about the amount, it's about the employees being dicks.

The bus was so comfortable and nice! I had a good sleep on the bus. Our bus got delayed and I think every bus is not on time due to traffic so if your schedule would be tight, you should take a previous bus than the actual one you take.

The bus is on time & safe drive. The service staff on the bus really helps us in passing immigration. But, they dropped us or ended up the way at public bus station and they didn’t go to their own bus station. The consequence is that we had problems with the motorbike drivers from the bus station they dropped us. The motorbike drivers cheated on hiring price to us and the motorbike drivers are rude. They wear blue shirt and red labelled seal on their arm. I didn’t expect they would do like that. ????

Оттуда отвезли на автовокзал на машине. Пересели в слип-бас .
Водитель автобуса неприветливый, резкий.
Чемоданы в автобус забивал ногами!
Сам автобус новый, люксовый. Лучше других. Шторки со всех сторон отделяют вас от других пассажиров.
Доехали в Ратьзю к заправке. Оттуда всех пассажиров довезли на микроавтобусе к порту.

The old bus with 2 & 1 seats row has no Toilet inside and seats are too close (less gap for footrest) and some recliners were not working properly (need repair). Good staffs that taking care passangers, including when crossing the border with the same bus but we had to carry luggages (requirement by Vietnam Immigration). The bus stopped 2 times that provided enough to time to go toilet and buy some foods/drinks. But, the bus also stopped many times to picked up and dropped off some passengers midway. Not so recommended bus.

the bus are all on time.. we liked the Kumho Samco Bus.. its so comfy.. only downside is most of their staffs cannot speak english so we are having a hard time talking/asking them about the booking.. but overall, it's good =D you just need to be persistent in asking the details of the booking to avoid conflict or issues while the travel

Comfortable journey in a sleeper bus. Could use curtains for privacy. WiFi available.
Playing music quiet loud all the way was a disturbance and unnecessary. Also more than one rest stop would be good in a 7 hour journey.

For a long journey, a wifi connection is a big help, unfortunately, the wifi in our bus is not working.
Most importantly, I understand that communication is relatively hard BUT leaving your first time passenger in the middle of no where and without any advise that tuktuk will be transporting you to a connecting bus is quite unacceptable. It took a co-passenger to explaine to us that we need to take tuktuk in order to transfer us to the night bus going siem reap

The tickets were affordable, the bus was in good clean condition,very spacious and comfortable seats! Staff were friendly however did not speak English, so when we arrived at Bavet border we didn't know what to do and where to go as they didn't explain.

Coach was very comfortable.
Quite disorganised as we did not know what was happening from the time we got to the place where we were picking up the coach.
The staff were not friendly or informative and frankly quite rude.

Kumho bus line drop station in Phom Phem is closed when se came. Nobody is there to assist us making things worse. Luckily some local bike drivers were able to talk to us and was able to get to the other bus company to Cambodia.

Incredible bus! Very clean and comfortable :) Free water was provided and seats had reclining foot rests, lots of room. Boarder crossing was a little confusing as no one told you where to go. They do take your passport but it’s fine you get it back.

Not what we expect!
First it is not a sleeper bus different from what is online.
Second the bus left 45 minutes late at 9:15am different from the 8:30am departure online
Third the driver was framed up or met an accident 1km away from the Cambodian border. We were a bit scared as we dont know what they are talking about. Police took the driver then a staff droved the bus to a bus stop waited for another Kumho bus for an hour.
Because of this we arrived late in HCM.
Will not recommend this busline.

Новый автобус, приятный, чистый, широкие места, всё работает, воду дают. Один минус - очень холодно даже при закрытых створках вентиляции сверху над вами и вашими соседями спереди и сзади, а пледов в отличие от других лежачих автобусов, не дают. Так что одевайтесь тепло. И еще персонал по-английски практически не понимает, только на пальцах. С получением визы на границе помогают.

I am dismayed. I booked the VIP sleeper Bus the one shown with the double decker bus. Once na bus arrived it is just an ordinary bus ( inclined seat) with no WiFi. Only 1bottled water.
I keep showing them my printed tickets. Why I am getting this bus instead. Driver and dispatcher don't speak English. So there we arrived late in Phnom Penh again I went to Kumho office and still ask why. They only said no bus like that. It's because I book online. Wtf! I just hate the tiring travel. No more online bus booking with 12go. Just sad. I paid more.

Dont ever think of taking the Kumho bus! travel from Ho chi minh to phnom penh was a good ride, but arriving at phnom penh (to continue our travel going to siem reap) we were asked to transfer to a new bus. it was a public transport bus. it smell like shit and it stopped everywhere to picked up and drop passengers. It is the worst experienced would never book again!

We booked the bus from Ho Chi Minh to Siem Reap with a short stop and change of Bus in Phnom Penh. We were positively surprised how perfect everything worked and we arrived as scheduled at 21:10 in Siem Reap. The obly thing we could have complained is that the wifi didn’t work, but let’s be honest- we’re on holidays and who cares about the wifi?!!! Relax and enjoy the view or have a nap...

The staff at the office was helpful to allow me on an earlier bus, and I appreciate that. But they were horrible in communicating that to me. I calmly tried to use Google Translate to assist with communication, but they didn’t seem to care.
The driver went as fast as he could - I appreciate that!
I’d definitely recommend against having the bus stop for food at the same restaurant. The employees there are absolutely horrible people. It didn’t matter that I was nice to them, they didn’t care at all about helping me. Worse, the cook touched all of the food that was already sitting on my plate, for no reason at all. Completely disgusting. I canceled my order and bought some bananas from another rude person who tried to not give me my change back.

The bus is clean and comfortable - if over 6foot then will be a little small but still very good. Would happily get again. You get on the local bus to the sleeper bus which is ~30 minutes of of the city, a really easy transition as people check tickets and point you to the right bus. 5*

Bus was clean, seats a bit narrow, and short (you need to be laying down all the time), but quite comfortable in overall. Border crossing took way more than I had anticipated and, together with all the stops that we made, the whole trip lasted 7.5 hours. Also the procedure on the Moc Bai - Ba Vet border crossing was a bit confusing. First step was that once we were on board in Saigon, we handed all our passports to the bus company person. Then on the borders he gave them to the Vietnamese authorities who after stamping them they gave them back directly to us. We then boarded the bus again for a few meters and then got off again at Cambodia side. There we gave the passport to the Cambodian authorities and continued without them. We even got on the bus and went to a restaurant nearby. After about half an hour the bus company person showed with the tickets at hand stamped by the Cambodian authorities. This part was the trickiest since noone had explained beforehand what the procedure would be and kept all of us wondering if everything is going to be ok with our passports. Everything was perfectly fine in the end, and I am just mentioning our experience to prepare future travelers. We continued our trip with no problems.
One more thing that's worth mentioning for anyone traveling with a small kid, is that even though they are not required to get a ticket in general (as long as they share the seats with their parents), when crossing borders in particular, they need to get something like a "half" ticket. At least that's what the bus company claimed. So we paid 250000 VND upon boarding in Saigon.

I had a no frills transportation from Ho Chi Minh to Phnom Penh through this Bus operator. They even helped me to get visa on arrival which requires some extra documentations for Indian passport holders. I recommend Indian passport holders to obtain Combodia e-visa online, at least a week before the travel to avoid such issues. Bus ride was comfortable, sleeper seats were good enough even though a little less spacious than that of another bus we took within Vietnam. Also this route is 3 times costlier than the same distance travelled within Vietnam. But that's the same for all bus companies running in this route. Bus arrived a few hours later than expected time even though it's still ok for the distance covered. Very comfi seats, easy border from Phnom Penh Cambodia to ho chi minh Vietnam. They had stops for toilet and the drivers are very friendly,helpful,courteous. the employees/driver are made everything easy to check in the border for us. I would Book again. It was a very Nice experience!

Confortable sleeper bus, although not designed for the size of westerners. I'm 5' 10" and could just fit, however the footwell is very tight - your feet will have to sit at right angles!
Pick-up point at Mien Dong was easy - e-ticket tells you which of the 50 ticket windows to go to, they then give you a paper ticket with the bus's vehicle registration to aid finding it. Drop-off point is NOT in Phan Thiet - it stops short at Phu Thuy, then you can take a taxi.

I don't know why you put the legal disclaimer about this operator service in the voucher because service and the bus were pretty comfy, even for European standards. I don't give 5 stars because they were more than a hour late.

Aside from the ticket telling us to arrive at an office in HCMC an hour before, and that being completely wrong, the rest of the journey was good. Go straight to the bus terminal where the bus leaves from and not the office for the “mid transfer”

The bus was on time and in the border everything was smooth.
Although operator representative on the bus didn't speak any English it was little bit hard to understand why they collected our passports and where to go but we followed some locals and did as they did.
Basically they collected passports on the bus then gave them back before Camobodian border. We had to leave the bus and showed our passport when we got the stamp that we left Cambodia. Then before we got back to the bus the company's representator collected again our passports and we drove a little bit to enter Vietnam. Then we had to take our bags and went inside where representator dealed with passports. When everything was okay then we had to scan our bags and got back to the bus. We had multiple entry visa to Vietnam, so we didn't deal with the money.

The VIP bus was amazing value. Really comfortable berths and free shuttle to our accommodation in dalat.
