Comfortable bus but:
- The bus was meant to leave Inle at 8:00 pm and we were told to be there half an hour before and the bus left at 7:30pm so we were actually lucky to get it.
- Driving was terrible way over speed limit and unsafe so our heads banged so hard against the seats that we couldn't hardly sleep.
- We arrived in Mandalay at 2:30am instead of 4:00am on a highway stop 10 miles from Mandalay in the middle of nowhere and nowhere to go.
- They did have a small shuttle bus to the railway station but all the luggages couldn't fit in so there we were sitted with our luggages on another crazy bus that didn't stop at any red traffic light with zero visibility and again drove way too fast.
- In comparison we experienced a Famous express bus from Yangon to Inle and the time scheduled was respected and driving was a lot smoother and safer.
- In conclusion: if we take night bus it isn't for speed racing bus but rather to sleep and arrive in the morning - not at night.

The bus was great. It’s new, clean and VERY convenient. They also give water and food.
The bus arrived 20 min ahead of schedule. Greatest travelling experience!

It was a good and comfortable ride. Bus arrived on time, and the service was great. Travellers were well taken care of from the station and throughout the trip. I would not hesitate to use and recommend to go with JJ Express and 12 Go again. Temperature was a bit cold at times. Suggestion to circulate fresh air instead of running AC as much. All in all was a good trip. Snacks and meals were great.

The bus was so comfortable, with AC not too strong. Snacks provided were also tasty.
They offered us a free ride to the city center, but it was difficult to find out where to get off as the bus stopped several times without any info.

Seamless booking and collection of bus tickets. Comfy and safe journey throughout. However, bus terminal at Yangon was far from city, recommend to grab and buffer more time as traffic can be quite bad.

The BUS is def one of the most comfortable I've been and the staff is also very friendly and helpful during the trip. However, you must be aware that at least half of the trip is made in bumpy roads and you have to be open minded in order to not be afraid. There's about 500km done in a Highway (from 00 to 5am aprox) and you can organize yourself to have a rest / sleep in this specific time slot.
One thing I must point out and really disliked, is the drop off situation. We're asked by the JJ staff where we wanted to exit - there were two stops, bus station and downtown. We replied that we wanted to exit in the downtown next to Sude Pagoda because our hotel was there.
Entering Yangon, you have to switch to a smaller BUS that is supposed to take you to one of the exits you chose: bus station or downtown.
Well, this BUS only made one stop that was the BUS station and made everyone leave. Downtown stop was not a stop and as soon as you exit the BUS you are approached by taxi drivers that want to take you. This seems like a scheme to make everyone catch a taxi.
My advise is that everyone uses Grab as soon they arrive at this station and avoid using those taxis waiting. At least you pay for a fair price and avoid dealing with this unpleasant situation at 7 in the morning.

Very comfortable... Best election for long trips around Myanmar. As it was a 12 hours long way, We were given dinner and soft drink. Staff was always kind and the bus was very clean.

Probably the most comfortable long distance bus trip I have ever had. However the bus manager never got back to me as he promised when I noted half the seat belt was missing. He notified the bus driver but of course what could he do. And of course I didn't really expect either of them to be able to do anything.

The bus is comfortable, big chairs and screen. Good and cheap way to have a long trip and save one night.
We’ve done one stop to eat at a local restaurant on the road.
Part on the road is across a mountain, if you are someone who get car sick bring with you some pills and do not eat dinner!

The bus was fine - very cold, but just wear winter clothes. The seats are uncomfortable, and it's hard to sleep. We stopped very close to where we were supposed to be, and someone tried to tell us that if we wanted to go somewhere else then we should get on another bus. It took 30 minutes (literally) to figure out what he was saying because it was lost in translation - no one spoke English, so most of the bus was very confused. Eventually though, we got to the right spot.

Very old Bus, the seats were already partly broken. Not every row has the same leg room. Luckily we could swap row with someone so they could sit together as a family. Otherwise it would have been an even worse and more uncomfortable experience. It's true the bus was very cold, even the driver was freezing. But it felt as if the bus simply hadn't had a heating system and it was freezing cold outside. We arrived in time and we had water and a soft drink and a thin blanket. We took JJ express on a different route and the difference was huge. I recommend to always take JJ!

The bus kindly picked up up at our hotel (on the main road). On time, good value for money and easy to book on line. Fairly comfortable seats with ample space for two very tall people. Snack, water and lemonade much appreciated. Very cold for the first half of the journey. I asked the driver if he could turn the air con down which he did. The second half was much more pleasant. Thank you.

The attendant on the bus was very nice to all of us and did her best to communicate in English, but we were not able to understand most of her announcements.
Maybe a there could be to hand out sheet in English for her announcements? Also, although we did love the box of food during the trip, it would have been good to get at least one thing savoury instead of all sweet.
Overall, a pleasant trip. Booked two more trips with JJ express around Myanmar

Was supposed to be picked up at our hotel, but somehow there was a very last minute miscommunication and we had to take a taxi to the bus depot (additional $15). They couldn’t give us a clear answer why we didn’t get picked up, even though we had the confirmation email. Seats were comfortable. Extremely bumpy ride which made it hard to sleep. Overall, not the best experience.

Very comfortable large reclining seats (and blanket), snacks and drinks services. Sleep was disrupted due to a lot of harsh breaking and a 1.30am stop at a bus station where everyone was required to leave the bus for half an hour.

Seats were very comfortable and very friendly staff! Snacks were good. When you are trying to sleep its not nice that they put all the big bright lights on at every stop. Our big negative point was that our backpacks in the bagage storage were completely soaked!! All of our clothes where wet!! So I recommend to all of the backpackes to put their raincover on it!

Great trip, clean bus! Could improve by keeping some passengers quieter over night trip! It was on time however in Mandalay we were put on local bus at 5.00 in the morning (20 min journey) to the centre. This was not stated on our ticket so quite a surprise

The bus ride was great, comfortable and on time. Temperature was just right. Staffs made sure everyone is taken care of. They provide bottle water, snacks and wipes. Seats are wide and comfortable. Only complain is the buspad was not working so i could not watch movies. Bus shuttle was on time.

Everything was OK, except the temperature on the bus. Why is it so cold on the bus (AC cool) and why the driver not switch on heating if the temperature at night is 10 degrees outside?

The booking via 12go Asia was very simple. Only the confirmation took some time... the trip itself: Outstanding service personal and all in all - nice bus, comfortable seats, dinner provided and even a transfer bus to downtown. It was the best choice taking the JJ bus to Yangon.

Bumpy ride but seats are comfy. Served a hot meal at first stop. Arrived an hour ahead of schedule but lots of taxis at terminal in Bagan throughout the night so no problem getting to hotel.

The bus was in very good condition and the driving was also good (only that the roads are really in bad condition). No sockets, just a USB port that charges your phone very slow. English of the conductor/ driver is bad that it confuses the passengers.
